What attracts you more? Looks or acting? - Page 2

I agree with the other peoples comments here. Charm is important it just lights the actor up and attracts the audience to them which can help them relate to the character/story.

If you are just good looking but have no screen presence and expressions then you might aswell look at that actors social media photos and gawk (if you want to). No need to invest time in watching a movie.

Obviously Shahrukh (but the younger one) and powerhouse Vidya. I don't wanna watch Bhai and Kat.

Definitely the acting. If I can be charmed via the interviews, then it's a plus.

When it comes to cinema a good actor no matter how plain looking he/she is can light up the screen and command your attention more than a good looking guy with six pack or a glam doll. Good looking people with zero acting skills are pain to watch.

I also think SRK is more of an acquired taste. He's not conventionally goodlooking cuz if he walked in the streets in a place where people don't know him, he's not gonna jump out at others for looking too handsome.

But he does have great screen presence.

All of the actresses are good looking in my opinion. Actors I find them charming. Some are better actors and some are better looking. It’s all about screen presence, acting, dancing, good looks, charm and humble is one of things I like in actors

They should have both

Acting . Movies are no beauty contest

Matters more to me - Acting. If an actor is AS irresistibly good looking as ARK or HR or Sonali Bendre or Dia Mirza or Preity, then I will give acting a pass. Otherwise, acting.
