Ep 33
Nageen wants to tell the truth about Sultan to Haroon but just as she is going to, her sister interrupts and mentions that Sultan came to help with a possible proposal for Rida.
Nageens sister anxiously phones Sultan to ask him why he’s after Nageen and why is he doing all of this? He replies it’s all for Nageens happiness. She tells him if he really wants to see Nageen happy then he should just leave her alone and that Nageen doesn’t want him or his favours and that she’s not interested in all the luxuries. He says she might not be, but her husband seems to want them. He reminds her that he’s the one that’s given everything to Haroon, and that there’s no loss to him if their past relationship is exposed.
Nageen tells her sister she knows Sultan is doing all these things to get her back and she must tell everything to Haroon but her sister tells her not to do anything saying even though a husband is good to his wife, no husband has a big enough heart to hear about or accept his wife’s first love.
(Oh dear this is going to be horrible once it’s out in the open because we know that Haroon thinks he’s the only man in Nageens life.)
The inlaws notice Ramsha on the tv on the same station that Haroon works at. Nageen is troubled and confronts Haroon about seeing Ramsha in Lahore. He replies he found out afterwards that she was applying to be working in his company and gets angry that Nageen is acting suspicious of him, especially as he never hid anything about Ramsha from her before they were married. He tries to prove there’s nothing bad going on between them but Nageen doesn’t want to listen.
(I have a feeling Nageen understands that Sultan put Ramsha there because of Haroon. It’s another way to get her back. She is getting upset and angry because she thinks Haroon is weak and will fall into the trap.)
Sultan asks his friend Fawad to act as a suitor for Rida even though he tells him he already has a fiancé. He asks his friend just to pretend and do a drama until he can get Haroon and Nageen to seperate.
Fawad notices his obsession and mentions again that there are other better girls out there but Sultan says Nageen is the only one in the world that he wants. Eventually after some reluctance, Fawad agrees to do it as a favour, but says he’s not happy about messing with an innocent girl’s (Rida) emotions.
So they go to Nageens home and Sultan manages to convince the family that Fawad is a good rishta so the engagement is settled. Everyone seems pleased except Nageen who thinks it’s a plan of sorts by Sultan. She explains her discomfort of it all which makes her inlaws displeased with her again.
It’s their anniversary and Haroon wants to leave work early but a jealous Sultan doesn’t allow it. Instead Haroon has been told by Sultan to work with Ramsha.
Nageen is happily planning something special and wants Haroon to come home early after work. She knows from the morning that he has bought her a ring as an anniversary gift and thinks he will surprise her with it in the evening.
Unfortunately while Haroon is walking out of the office the ring accidentally drops out of his coat.
Ramsha sees it fall and picks up the ring and understands that he’d bought it as a gift for Nageen but she slyly doesn’t mention it or return it to him. (She’s either really jealous or just naturally mean and deceitful)
They are in the car together and Ramsha makes conversation saying she’s heard Nageen is really pretty and she would love to meet her. She asks Haroon if he told his wife he’s coming late, he replies he will explain to her later and says he’s sure Nageen will call. He leaves the car for a moment just as Nageen calls and Ramsha sees the phone and slyly declines the call.
