Also its not wrong to debut as a star kid..nobody can stop anybody from launching genuine talent whether its from film family or outside..but its wrong to take work away from others who are already part of the project and hand it over to untalented or talented star kids just by influence. More than Alia, its KJo to be blamed for his snake moves and he is also rightfully getting flak for it.

If you need to scold some, get after the director and producer who replaces the actors in projects over night.

I like her. I do think she has benefitted from the system though but people who are sending her hate need to calm down. Hating on her ain't gonna solve the system.

Alia is not responsible if other directors start giving roles to her on request of KJO. It means that those outsiders were not very important part of the project. No director removes the best actor from a movie and replaces them over night.

😆 Yeah, she and KJo are responsible for it. In normal parlance it's called bribery. When they threaten someone with loss of screens, it's called coercion. When they make a tacit agreement with another production house to keep an actor out, it's called collusion.

Even the law doesn't agree with you, forget ethics.

Nepotism is a daily part of life. It's wrong that KJo lobbies for her but if she's impressed him that much, nobody can do anything about it.

Compared to the other current actresses right now, she's a good actress.

Katrina can't act for nuts - her only movie she was good in was Zero and that's because it reflected her real life. She has a good career because she's pretty and dances well.

Deepika is a mediocre actress. Her looks helped her a lot but she's not getting roles now because of her own reasons - she wants too much money so producers just find another actress.

Parineeti was considered Alia's competition but her acting went down the drain. She was so bad in her last few movies.

Shraddha is also a bad actress. People pretend she is an insider-outsider so they can use her to counter Alia but she's a nepo product herself.

Sara Ali Khan is absolutely horrible. Another nepo product but not even one with minimal talent.

No one. Not a single one. Alia is actually the best of the lot which is a sad state to be in because... well... compare Alia to the likes or Parvathy or Nithya Menon, and the differences become glaring.

That's not the issue with her, though. It's the strong arming of competition by spreading rumors and bullying, by using KJos money and clout to take business from competition, by keeping screens away from competition via KJo, etc.

Alia is obviously a decent commercial actress. But, she isn’t talented or chameleon enough to navigate the depths of commercial and ‘meaningful’ cinema, so that’s where the nepotism debate comes into play and you can see how KJo’s mentorship benefits her at the cost of others.

Kjo and Alia know the industry landscape is changing with OTT platflorms, that made people notice Tripti Or Shobita. Also, the movies aren’t what they used to be. any formula you think works, until it doesn’t.

So, papa and beti want to grab all the chances for their Beti- meaningful cinema, commercial movies, historical.. you name it, Alia is there, at the cost of other. She is simultaneously a Meryl Streep, a Kylie jenner, JLaw, an amazing GF, intelligent, funny... you think of it, it’s Alia!!!
anyways, Kjo and Alias quest to dominate reminds me of Icarus. You fly too high and come crashing down.
