Yeah that I know, he went into depression and wanted to take hermitage too. You know, I read in Yudhisthira : The Unfallen Pandava, that he got hallucinations of Abhimanyu and his sons, and even the "wine" seemed blood to him. One demon in sage's attire too rebuked him for the destruction. Then Krishna, Draupadi and other people persuaded him to be the king. And then he was taken to Bhishma for the discourse.
