Penguin: The most beautiful thing about this movie, its cinematography and how it captures a beautiful small town, reminded me of Shillong.

movie itself is generic crime thriller with a twist, which no longer feels like a twist, and motive which is blah.

Kreethi's acting is fine, but damn her character is super dumb or super brave.

It is a one time watch, not at all bad, just that if you have seen Ratsasan, you will be like meh.

I went back and watched Kai Po Che on Netflix just cause. It was kind of weird but the film was awesome. Sushant, Rajkumar, Amit, the little kid and even Amrita Puri were all good. The music, locations, backdrop were all 💯

Miss you Sushant 😘

The Lovebirds

Kumail Nanjiani and Issa Rae pull off a rom-com filled with high jinks and shenanigans.

Coronavirus Explained

The weakest in the Explained series. Doesn't give much new info. Most people should know this stuff by now. But mandatory viewing for Americans who are slow.

Golmaal

I love this Amol Palekar classic. Could watch it over and over.

LA Confidential: Has there been a Bollywood copy of this one? I don't know but I feel it is. But movie was entertaining, start till end. And what a catalogue of actors damn, it was filled with so many talents. Movie is basically about a time when Hollywood cops were so much into media, they literally became like movie stars.

Life series(2007-9): It was a bummer in the end when I realised that series ended without having a full closure because show got cancelled. But I loved the series, Damian Lewis is fantastic as Charlie Crews and Sarah Shahi is one damn hot woman, she is just so freaking good looking, she is like Ileana's less curvier version.

The Man In The High Castle: It is a weird show, I am watching it an episode per day, because I have understood this show is not for binge watching, it is bloody good, but slow, so it is better to taste it like slowly.

Horrible Bosses 2: It was a fine timepass movie, after watching so many crazy shite, it was a fine break movie.

Episodes of Family Guy in Youtube: This show is great, and Stewie is the best goddammit character of all time.

Slight spoilers ahead

The way she keeps losing the child throughout the movie is surprising. And the police people are so incompetent.

As I said, her character was either super dumb or super brave.

And the over dramatic background music when she goes in search of her kid LOL, seriously direction and writing ruined the movie.

Vazhakku en 16/9 ( Tamil) ( Case No 26/9) it's a very realistic story of how the poor stand helpless against a corrupt system. It's also a who done it mystery woven inside a drama about 3 characters . You are presented with 3 POV about a crime that happens to a lady . One time watch 6/10. It's too sad at times .

HAHK : decided to show the movie to my kids, OMG cannot believe how u sat through this one, some moments were nice. One thing is that found Mohnish Behl very handsome and the girl who plays Rita lit up the screen even if she had a small role. Found out she was Miss India winner. Too much Ott coyness and smiling. Couldn't take so much sweetness. My daughter didn't like Madhuri at all ( lol) and liked Mohnish more than Salman ( me too).

Watched Bulbul on Netflix recently and I must say I really liked it. The way the portrayed horror in it, I don’t think l’ve seen it treated this way before atleast not in Bollywood. The story, acting, cinematography and direction everything is top notch. Such an intriguing and well narrated story that hits all the right notes. Also some of the frames are so beautifully shot that it looks like art.

Highly recommend this one if you like horror and intrigue. It’s a really unique movie.

Knives out

Good movie.

Chris Evans looks a little fatty but still sexy.
