I remember this particular episode when it had Sr. Insp Asha and perhaps the only female officer who called Daya and Abhijeet without the 'Sir' prefix. Guess the role was played by Ashwini Kalsekar.
So the episode (if I'm right) was called 'The case of Rina Raj' and it's one of the best from CID's golden era
Even when Vivek had entered, the jeopardy of cases was real high and not replaced with ill-sense. My fav time period has to be 2004-2009.
Adalat lost its charm quite early on. The 'Murder in Space' episode was too dumb for words. And I remember once in my class, my Science Sir overheard our discussions and thought it to be a real life incident🤣
I had loved the entire 'Abhijeet in Jail' tenure though. The thought of having both my fav characters, Abhijeet and KD in a single frame was too thrilling back then😆
