Scratching my head at Ekta Kapoor comments. No one wanted to do TV, and she literally made her own niche. She might've gotten a foot in the door because of daddy, but the rest of it was all her work. AND she promotes outsiders.

I don't understand the purpose of blanket condemnations like this. To some extent, nepotism will always be around. Because we all support our own families.

Problem comes in when support becomes active sabotage of others, esp when it drives down quality of product.

Ranveer got it cos he was close to casting director Shanoo Sharma, she wanted to launch him since he was 17..he is no outsider like Sushant or Ayushman, he hung out with star kids, related to one of the big families of Bollywood and there were rumours that his dad may have financed his first film..so no I have no reservation in calling Ranveerv an insider, he got all the benefits without the pressure of being a star kid. U can believe whatever u want to believe..

I agree with Ekta comment. She has launched more outsiders than anyone. SSR, Rithvik, Harshad, Prachi etc. All of them are better than the starkids
