Look at saif kareena son taimur. Isnt media and audience obsessed with him. Same will happen when ranbir kapoor has a child . So a shift has to happen from everywhere.

I am ok with nepotism as long as these star kids show they r working very hard and do not indulge in butter games with outsiders . The rot needs to be taken out.

But yes I have a problem when those star kids who have no talent keep getting chances even when their film flops. These lot needs to go away.

I agree šŸ‘it’s not their fault for being born in that family and wanting to take up the same career the past generations have...as long as they work hard and have real talent to showcase.

I’m sorry to say but the likes of sonam kapoor and Ananya pandey should shut shop! And this is where it gets messy when an outsider is overruled by no talent as these two!

Yes .. nepotism is so deep in Asian culture that we have accepted it as reality .. it all starts from the TOP ... our political parties are so deeply embedded in dynastic leaders .. They rule the country .. that is why it has spread in all sectors ..

I am Glad he was politically neutral .

So part 1 went well without any tension šŸ˜†..I m sure real bombs r hidden in next parts šŸ˜†..

He is really a good speaker and also a pro in these interviews..He knows what exactly to speak without going overboard especially his take on nepotism which is perfect šŸ‘šŸ¼..

He is at a happy space right now and it reflects from his answers ..His every reply was filled with positivity and hope despite the fact that he has suffered a lot in past ..Thats where u cant help but admire the man bec he came out of that difficult phase in his life and today he looks happy and content ..

On a funny note , he indirectly hinted to all snit specialists that he goes through every comment and chats on twitter/insta & is amused how they could find even the tiny of details about him šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜†

I understand where Sid is coming from..He is stressing on accepting this reality and move on,which will save us from harbouring bitterness...

But on personal level, I doubt this reality will ever stop pinching me...I know i have to eventually accept Nepotism at certain point but for now I don't think I am okay seeing a person with lower caliber than me getting all opportunities which i aspire to have...

I saw one IV of Kriti sanon...where she said, its not like she can't play deep and artistic characters but she never got a chance with one...

While Alia get fabulous scripts, and so well written characters time and again and ofcourse working with all best directors definately polished her..No denying tha she had a certain caliber but opportunities she got are what made her..

If we compare Ali and Kriti's performances in their debut..Kriti was far more impactful than Alia was...

While on TV, I have seen so many actors who are so fabulous, like DT, jennifer, sidharth, karan patel, Hina, ronit, sakshi and many others who have made quite trashy script work which these star kids i doubt will ever able to do...

Unfortunately that is how the human brain is wired.. there is inequality everywhere and unfortunately an individual does not have a say on this - they are born with/in it.... what Sidharth said is the brutal truth, it would be great if we as a society can endeavor to change it!

I am not saying what sidharth said is wrong...But for now may be for now my thoughts don't sync with his cool acceptance of this vice eating away the growth of our society and system...

Yes its ultimately upto audience to bring any significant change.

One thing more I agree with jyoti here...His answers were quite clear and calm..It seems he is in happy place and at peace..

Quite collected answers he gave on certain sensitive issues that no doubt he too had faced..No bitterness..

I am Happy for our Guy...

Bless✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Can't wait for part 2

Nepotism is such a complicated phenomenon.. it all depends upon on which side of fence you are standing.. Sid is right that's it everywhere...I rarely had to experience it myself as I m still a student and is yet to enter the world of complexities but yeah when you apply for college admission and find out that even with better marks your name is not in first list and those who scored much lower than you are there ,when you come to know that you have to pay 6 times more for applying somewhere than someone else than it gets quite disheartening but than we have to deal with it as it's the rules...when you can't do much about it in sectors like education or govt jobs or even private jobs etc than bollywood is something that is last in our reach..as much as we dont like producers for giving chance to star kids but we actually can't blame them for using their money as they wish...if we don't like it we can opt to not see their movies .. atleast in bollywood entry may be in their hands but acceptance is in audience hand.. similarly we can't force ambani to not make his child his successor..even in politics nepotism is there ,but it's in our hands to place our votes wisely.. nepotism or not but there will always be unequal chances, lost opportunities, preferences and priorities but the main point is how we deal with it and wait for our chance and work hard for it as there may comes a time when we are the one getting the chance or getting prioritised in place of someone else and that time we won't find it much wrong as we will think we deserve it..as I said it all depends on which side you are standing..so yeah whether we like it or not but nepotism will coexist everywhere you go in some form or other and we had to deal with it but harrassment is something which is not at all acceptable and that is main cause of so many problems and that is what needs to be stopped... we should do whatever possible in our hands to stop it and strict actions should be taken against it...

One can debate that he was diplomatic with his stand on nepotism which is current ongoing debate right now on twitter as usual šŸ¤”..

But the bitter reality is u cannot really challenge or rebel against the system when u r still a part of that system ..Not everyone can b a kangana and still coexist ..

As an audience we hv that power to challenge the system and stop watching movies of starkids in theatres but the question is will we really do that if the movie is good ? šŸ¤”..

All these debates on nepotism r actually temporary just like metoo movement as people will forget soon ..So when actors r told to speak on this , they need to b diplomatic about it as its them who hv to survive in industry ..Humara kya hai , hum aaj kuch bolenge kal kuch aur bolenge ..isn't it 😃

I understand wat u r saying...Sid just said nepotism exists everywhere, he didn't say he favours it
