Depression IS an illness. Downplaying it as not is not what we need right now. Although I agree with the sentiment of his post about DP's preaching being annoying and insensitive to the circumstances, discrediting someone's suffering (in this case DP) by calling it "crying while in the shower" is buying into stereotypes about mental health.
