I am surprised that SSR didn't take his father and sisters into his confidence.They wouldn't have left him alone.He in fact convinced them that it will be alright.That was a huge mistake.

What I have read so far is that he isolated himself..That should not happen to another person.

I assume depression is not something where we dont feel strong at all. As a grown up child I dont like worrying up my parents and even for that matter my siblings when I dont feel well.. I stay away from them...so the only way they get to know I am well/not well is through me. They are growing old, so I would not want them to know about it , till i can handle.. ANd here he might have gone wrong ..in the handling part.. I can completely relate to his father not knowing about it.. However as far as reports are concerned..his sister new.. but did not know how grave the situation was..

She thinks she is creating awareness about mental health but she is just rubbing people wrong way.

She is like those people who if predicts something & if it happens they keep saying "I told you this" again & again just to take credit themselves.

I have said this before and her recent posts are proving me right unfortunately - her intention is not to create awareness.

And what's with the comparison??? She is comparing this with cancer.. Any idea what the terminally ill patients goes through? I am sorry to say this but depression is treatable, people get better with medication and counselling. But people who are at terminal stages of cancer especially kids - they have no choice, nothing will save them. Depression is a serious illness that needs medication and counselling but she is not sending the right messages.. She is a very cunning and opportunist..
