Dev is pleasantly surprised as his secretary informs that Dr Sonakshi Bose had accepted his job offer . He rushes home to be present as his mother meets the nutritionist .

Sona surprises her baba by informing him about her decision to accept Dev’s job offer ... she asks him to relax at home n stop job hunting for himself .

Radha comes to meet Ishwari n sheds bucket full of tears worrying for her son Vicky who was badly bashed up , she had no money for his treatment, complaining about her poor financial status .Ishwari feels sorry n gives her a wad of cash . she then inquires how Vicky got hurt. Radha then reveals Dev slapped him, Ishwari is shocked to hear this . Neha butts in stating Vicky must have done something to get slapped by Dev because he was not a violent type. Radha changes the topic and leaves after Ishwari says she would ask Dev about it .

Radha returns home and shows off her loads of shopping that she did with the money. hiding the source of money from her husband .

Ishwari is exerting herself again at home . Dev comes n informs about her new nutritionist . Ishwari is not happy about it but aneha is very pleased . Dev pleads his mom to accept the nutritionist for his sake , she reluctantly agrees.

As Sona reaches Ishwari niwas she has her usual face off with Dev , he then takes her tk his mother .

Unknowingly Ishwari nsuots her n speaks poorly about her nutritionist who was an old lady doctor n was fleecing her son ... Soon Dev informs her that Sona was her nutritionist doctor .. Ishwari is embarrassed n apologetic .

As Sona gets on with her work ..Dev interrupts her but her reprimands him .

Sonakshi is busy guiding cook Kichu in the kitchen Ishwari keeps a close watch on Dr Sonakshi Bose . She observes Sona was only guiding the cook n not cooking herself . She is shocked that Dev was paying through the nose for this tiny job . She calls up Dev n he says that Sona was a doctor n not a cook . Neha too says the same . Ishwari feels Sona was over paid, she was fleecing her son .

She finds the diet meal tasteless n dry . She complains to Dev about Sona n her disproportionately high pay packet .

Sona assures she would get used to it very soon .

An old acquaintance of Ishwari tries to enter Ishwari niwas but is stopped by the guard .

At Mama ji’s house Radha n mama ji clash over the jobless and useless Vicky . Radha n Mama ji clash over their meagre income. Mama ji asks Radha to manage with his meagre hard earned money n refuses to be indebted to Ishwari by sharing her house n income. Radha thinks differently.

At Bose house Bijoy n Sourabh are enjoying carefree days ... Asha is worrying for Sona’s allaince , she informs Bijoy n Sourabh about a prospective match for Sona. Sourabh is worried they will have no source of income after Sona gets married n goes off. Bijoy assures he will take up a job to support his family .

At Ishwari niwas Dev feels embarrassed n awkward as Ishwari speaks about Sona in poor light.

Later Dev thanks Sona for taking care of his mother’s diet . Sona accidentally spills flour on Dev n then tries to dust it away guiltily.

Devakshi have face off in kitchen after she accidentally spills flour over him.

Neha has a face off with Ishwari n Dev over getting a new AC in her bedroom.

A shady guy from Ishwari’s past tries to befriend Sona in an attempt to reach Ishwari but Sona ignores him.

Asha, Bijoy n Sourabh are busy with preparations for dinner with Sona’s prospective groom n his family . Sona reluctantly agrees to have dinner with them.

Sona reaches Ishwari niwas n tries to explain to Dev about caring for mother ..but he is in no mood to get lectured . Asha keeps calling Sona reminding her of the dinner at home n she assures she would be there for dinner.

Ishwari is displeased with Sona firstly for being busy on the phone ...secondly for her choice of dishes n bland meals for the entire family ...thirdly for fleecing her son.

Neha is very cross with Dev and in frustration yells at Sona n behaves with her rudely...Sona is shocked .Neha troubles Dev again at office n nags him for the AC.

Ishwari’s old friend comes to visit her n mistakes Sona as her bahu .
Later Sona gets Ishwari her juice n shares a few moments of happiness with her . Sona then informs Ishwari about a stranger named Khatri who was asking about Ishwari ..sona asks if she knew that guy ?? Ishwari recollects how Khatri used to attempt to molest her , lure her into living relationship with him. Ishwari gets scared to the bone recollecting her horrible days of trying to dodge Khatri .

Ishwari refuses to discuss her past with Sona n shoos her off to the kitchen. Before leaving for home Sona informs Dev that she will not be coming to work the day after since it Holi festival day ..
Sona shares with Dev her struggle during childhood n presumes Dev had a luxurious childhood .
ishwari N Dev share their past struggles . Later Dev gets emotional recollecting the struggles his mother had to go through saving herself from animals the likes of Khatri who lusted after women.

At Bose house Sona, Bijoy , Sourabh and Asha have moments of masti n friendly banter as they discuss how Dev declines her a holiday on Holi. They also discuss Sona’s attire on the day she meets a prospective groom. Sona declares she was not yet ready for marriage. Sourabh says who knows this guy might be her Prince Charming she was always waiting for !!

Just as Sona arrives at Ishwari niwas n is about to enter the kitchen to advise cook Kichu .. Nikki drags Sona forcibly to plays badminton with her . Ishwari observes the two n disapproves Sona playing games n having fun when she was drawing high pay for being nutritionist. Ishwari decides to teach her a lesson n make her work hard in kitchen ... she sends Kichu on leave.

When Sona arrives into the kitchen she is shocked as ishwari informs about Kichu's absence . Sona os asked by Ishwari to cook the meal herself . Sona replies that she was a nutritionist not a cook. Ishwari argues with her. Neha takes Sona's side n taunts both Ishwari n Sona.

Finally Sona admits she did not know any cooking .Ishwari is shocked but takes advantage of the situation n cooks a spicey, oily delicious spread much to the happiness of Ria and Nikki. they all relish the food... so does Ishwari n they force Sona too to share the meal ...much to Sona's disappointment .

Sona fails to persuade the family especially Ishwari to avoid this unhealthy meal. she also fails to contact Dev to inform his about the cook's ansence n Ishwari cooking n eating unhealthy food .as expected Ishwari falls sick, the family gets worried for her health .. Dev rushes home, Sona summons Ishwari's doctor .

SOna gets held up because of this, while the prospective gromm n his family have arrived at Bose house n all are waiting for Sona.

Dev accuses Dr Bose of failing to take care of his mother’s diet that resulted in her falling ill . Sona tries to explain how she tried her best but could not force Ishwari who remained adamant . Dev is very angry with her . So a then states he came to her pleading her to take up this job ..if he was regretting his decision he was free to employ another nutritionist.

Dev is taken aback. He goes to his mother n feels worried about her health. She admits Sona tried to stop her but she di don’t pay heed to her advise . Dev realises his mistake. He asks why was she so difficult . She better listen to Sona for the sake of her children. Ishwari gets emotional so does Dev n she feeds him the tasty dishes she had cooked .

As Sona reaches home she finds the family very angry with her . The prospective groom n his family had got tired of waiting n left after insulting Bose family .Asha is very angry .

Bijoy understands the compulsions of her job.
next day is Holi and Bose family is seen celebrating with fun and masti

At Ishwari mansion Ria n Nikki want to go out n play Holi with other youngsters but Ishwari wants to shield them from boys .

Neha is as usual sarcastic g towards Dev n Ishwari .

Dev gifts sweets n Shagun to his three sisters n also sends sweets n greetings to Bose house . Sona’s grand mother comes to know Sona’s boss was a handsome guy n teases Sona .

Sona gifts Dev a new shirt and apologises for spoilling his shirt the other day ..Dev accepts it and asks her not to think of him but concentrate on his mother

Dev accompanies Ria on her first day as intern in his company. Ishwari sends her with full rituals n her sisters are quite excited about it .

Dev warns her he will treat her like an intern at office n not his sister.

Maami crores n accuses Dev of his betraying his cousin Vicky whom he should have bailed out from jail yet he did not do it . Dev says he wanted Vicky to learn a lesson from his mistake of drunken driving realise it . Radha is very angry with Dev and Ishwari too blames Dev over it ..

At Mama ji’s house Mama ji slaps n scolds Vicky for drunken driving n getting caught by police .

Sona Tries to point out Dev’s wrong way of handling his cousin , Dev is again annoyed with Sona and asks her to stay out of his family matters n concentrate on her patient.

At Bose house Asha has arranged Sona to meet the prospective groom whom she had failed to meet the other day . She arranges coffee date for the two n convinces Sona to accept her offer . Sona is contacted by the prospective groom n they agree to meet .

Dev arranges an English teaches for Neha as he gets the hint Neha wanted to learn spoken English .

Neha gets very angry with Dev for getting English teacher without asking her . She is very angry that he took decision for her life without her permission .

The English teacher senses the unwillingness of his student n politely leaves. Neha is. Armed by Sona and she tries to convince her to start her English lessons . Dev likes the way Sona was trying to convince Neha .

Radha and Vicky express their disappointments as they have to bear the brunt of power cuts on hot summer day while Ishwari enjoyed numerous inverters at her bungalow .

at Bose house Asha has arranged coffee date for Sona with a prospective groom . Bijoy is annoyed that the Electricity dept had cut off their power supply without considering their wrong billing . He is unwilling to bow down to their illegal Demands . Asha and Daadi asks Sona to give her prospective groom a chance n try to fall in love with him. Sona is taken aback but assures she will give this relationship an honest try .

Sona faces resentment from Dev’s side . She takes leave from Ishwari as she leaves for her coffee date .
At the coffee date Sona and the boy try to get acquainted and give eachother a chance but Dev Dixit calls up Sona frequently n disturbs the two and after the 5th call the guy gets annoyed n leaves Sona n walks off . Sona tries to stop him but fails.

Sona reaches home n finds her family depressed . Just as she is wondering what hit them the groom’s mother calls up Asha and shares her disappointments with Asha n accuses them of insulting their son.
She accuses Sona of hiding her boy friend from them.
Sona apologises to her family for the failed coffee date but insists she had no BF .

Next day she has face off with Dev over the disturbance he had caused during her coffee date but Dev refuses to accept his fault n accuses Sona of neglecting his mother .

Dev calls Sona n asks her to wait for him to return home before she left . She agrees to wait for him .

Ishwari rushes back home in state of shock ... the threats of The disgusting guy Khatri still ringing in her ears ....black mailing her ... demanding money ..a price for his silence ... to keep her dark past from her children .... Sona notices her in state of shock n gets worried but Ishwari calms herself n collects her self in her room ....she the. Decides to get rid of all the old things that kept reminding her of her past . Sona calms her.

Khatri calls Ishwari n black mails n threatens her .

Dev remains busy and asks Sona to wait and she keeps waiting up till midnight ...

later Dev meets her after midnight n thanks her for her treatment as indicated by his mother’s improved reports.

Sona gets annoyed with him n reprimands him for keeping her waiting past midnight. Dev sends his chauffeur driven car to follow her till her house . Sona is thankful to the driver ..but thinks Dev was a mad guy .

The drives thinks otherwise n sings praises of Dev. Ishwari is very troubled but hides her troubles from her children n wonders how to deal with Khatri .

Sona reaches home late n finds her parents waiting for her ..worried bahut their daughters safety. Sona explains her situation and asks them to calm down . Asha then informs her how they had arranged a dinner for her to meet a prospective groom . Daadi n Bijoy are excited about it . They do emotional blackmailing n persuade Sona into agreement .

next day Neha meets her rejected English teacher at a restaurant n he persuades her to take up Spoke English classes since she was so interested .

Neha decides in favour .

Next morning Dixit family is very happy to learn Neha had decided to join English classes after all . Sona too is happy For Neha .Dev apologises to Sona for keeping we waiting til late the previous night . He assures such will never happen again.

Dev apologises to Sona for delaying her departure the previous night n assures it will never happen again .

Dev finds his mother very upset.. she laments that she had chucked away all her children’s childhood remembrances/souvenirs .. But Sona comes and shows her that she had kept them all safely ... she k ew Ishwari would never bear to separate them from her . Ishwari hugs those things n weeps ..Ishwari n Dev are very thankful to Sona .

At Bose house Naani n Asha are upset thinking of Sona’s bidaayi ..

At Nikki’s room Sona changes into a saree that Asha had given her n changes for meeting her prospective groom . Nikki appreciates Sona’s looks . Ishwari comes n lends her a pair of pretty ear rings to go with her pretty yellow saree and states she was looking very nice in the saree .

Neha hesitantly begins her spoken English classes .. her teacher is very encouraging .

Sona’s prospective groom arrives at Ishwari mansion n
He is received by Dev n he clarifies all the MU that had occurred at Sona n his last meeting . Dev learns this guy was Mumbai based and would take Sona away to Mumbai after marriage n Dev is annoyed with this fact .

He gets furious as he notices Sona looking so pretty . He gets jealous n alerts his spies to get all information about the guy .
