Using the usual filmy politics to blame Karan for someone's death is going way too far. His name is actually trending because of this. It's disgusting.

That being said, bullying is always bad. Yes, some have the thick skin to take it, but some do not. KJo and gang are not schoolyard bullies not to know it. He's a man in his forties-fifties.

It cannot be dismissed easily as parents/friends doing things for loved ones.

Moreover, he and his cronies did it on purpose to destroy or drive away the outsiders. Deepika rumors, Shraddha rumors, SSR rumors, Rajkumar Rao rumors, how many more? Priyanka was driven out. Snatching roles. Mocking them in public. What KJo did went way beyond nepotism. I would call him a mob boss.

I'm not a KJo fan but this isn't on him. Could he have been nicer, more accpeting and more empathetic towards outsiders? Yes, definitely. But is he to blame b/c he and his gang can be childish gossip mongers? No.

Sushant was clearly going through something for years based on what his close friends are tweeting/posting about him and I'm sure the lack of respect from some of his idols/colleagues must have added to it, but I don't think it was the sole reason.

What KJo can do now is apologize for what he said and done in the name of humor b/c it might have caused Sushant and so many others pain. And after that, he and his gang need to stop acting like mean girls towards ppl that don't have a famous mom/dad. But let's not paint him as some boogeyman or as a murderer b/c that's a bit much. Let's hope he meatn what he posted and give him the benefit of the doubt b/c this was shocking for everyone.

Sushant actually eventually dropped out of engineering shortly after that. I remember Sushant participated in Zara Nachke Dikha 2 in his earlier days (during KDMHMD days) where his group dedicated a whole dance performance for his mother and he broke down. I felt really bad. I deal with depression myself. It is a struggle but I'm fortunate enough to be living with my family and parents. When you are depressed, living in isolation can make it so much more worse. Why was he living alone when so many people were aware of his depression?!.Especially during this pandemic when you can't really do much to divert your mind.

Let me say this. Suicide is often looked at as a cowardly step and I see many people asking "why did you do this" or "this is not the way out". This is not the way to respond. Suicide is not an easy decision. Imagine being so broken and feeling so lonely that you feel there is nothing worth living for. You go to the extent of harming your longest companion, your own body. That is dark and you require someone to be there with you or check on you. It can be hard to love someone who suffers from depression because at times, they will not be the most pleasant individual. Not because they want to be that way but because they are suffering so much that they don't know how and where to channel their emotions. I speak from experience. I'm just shocked that people were aware of the fact that Sushant was suffering from depression and seeking counselling and on meds and still allowed him to live alone. A trigger only takes a fleet second.

I believe sushant did have a 24/7 maid. -according to IF, He spoke with Mahesh Shetty( his close friend, TV actor) and stopped taking anti depressants a week ago, stating he was fine. Clearly, he wasn’t.

if I were to guess, his family left him alone during quarantine, knowing he was on meds etc, but most likely didn’t know he stopped taking them.

Sad, and very very tragic.

Also, I hope when we demand accountability from bulies; the likes of kjo, we also demand them from award functions, who barely nominated him for two amazing performances last year. We demand it from media, who run irresponsible blinds and print garbage for online clicks.

You must not know what real mob bosses do if you think Karan is a mob boss.

Deepika is the daughter of a sports legend and got to debut with the biggest star in the country. One of her biggest hits is a Dharma movie (Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani) that Karan gave her. Her upcoming movie is also a Dharma movie. He was driving her out of the industry? Sure.

Shraddha is a star kid and despite her father not being liked much, she got an exclusive contract with YRF from the beginning. She took a risk and dropped it after some movies and is still doing fine in the industry. He drove her out?

Rajkumar Rao is slowly climbing up and this one even gets invited to all the parties. Who is trying to get him kicked out?

Priyanka was working with every big director in the country even after Karan got angry with her. She did movies with Bhansali, Zoya Akhtar, and YRF after Karan's twitter rant against her. Her going to HW was her own choice. She even invited Karan to her wedding and both her and even her husband follow Karan on social media.

At most, Karan makes bitchy comments and jokes about people. That's about it. Everyone else does too - they are just quieter and more sneaky about it so they don't get the brickbats he does.
