I don’t know why people are getting hurt if we voice our opinion about MTA being a blatant copy of Judaai, I am not a fan of silly jodi or troll actors because they aren’t my favourite. I am a mature woman. Plus I like Zahid Ahmed.

Never once did I draw comparison To Dsminj while watching cheekh, and I have watched Damini. It never reminded me of Damini.

Never did I think yeh dil mera was inspired by Bazigar, but ppl did.

In all dramas there will be similarities either from Hollywood or Bollywood, but there’s a difference in being reminded of a movie similar to a drama and the whole damn promo looking exactly like a movie. I ask for credit that’s all. I blame the writer and producer, not the actors.

How dare the writer puts his name on something which is a copy.

Not going to come back to argue, I just wish our producers will use common sense when theY know Pakistani audience is a PhD in Bollywood.

The main consept is almost the same. But the writer took the easy way to copy the movie instead of following the old story. I hope no deaths happen in this drama though.😒

This pandemic is making me soft as a person 🤣. I am trying to be cool and trying to spread the same.🤣

Guys relax, I agree ,they should have given the credit, that's definitely the responsibility of the writers but we can't do anything in that case, outrage is already there, Judaai writers, when might come to know, they may take action. So, we don't have to be so serious about that, or bother about that especially when nothing is in our hands It's for everyone here including myself. Even, I take everything seriously especially these dramas. Ab copy hai to hai, copy ko copy hi bulaenge na.

No one is hurting anyone, everyone here is entitled to give their opinions. Freedom of speech is there.

My main concern is whether we will get some comedy scenes in the drama. I really want some comical scenes😭

And please don't fight. Chill ,relax and have popcorn and enjoy the show if it clicks you

let’s say it’s based on this old folk story. Why isn’t it mentioned based on Lilan Chanesar!!! Why let people judge you that you copied Indian material! It’s mentioned NOW after the back lash, how convenient!!! So they planned to get away with it if no one cared.

For me there’s no charm left to watch this show as I know how it starts, the middle and end, I watch dramas in which I don’t know what will happen next. I don’t even read novels of shows that are adaptations as I don’t like to ruin the experience.

I'm afraid that 90 percent shows airing/already aired are "adaptations".And what's more, everybody is already aware of their plots. But people are still seeing them on TV and Youtube; and nobody seems bothered with them. They are least concerned if their producers/directors/writers have named or acknowledged the multiple shows and plot-lines they have repeated and copied or picked up from here and there.

I don't know about others; but I have seen plenty of such ( Eg- Noor-ul- Ain drama of Sajal and Imran Abbas is a complete rip-off of Bollywood movie, Saathiya; but even Sarmad Khoosat or the producers; never acknowledged or came out openly and proclaimed so. The audience and media portals watched it and found that it was a copy; but continued watching it and made it a big hit)...There are plenty others, but not going there....

It's absolutely unreal that people and media portals have awakened to so much hype with MTA only; as if that is the first drama in the history of mankind that's adapted from a novel or movie or whatever.

So, I don't know, if this hype and publicity is gonna be a boon to HUM TV in terms of ratings and Youtube views; but I am sure going to watch it for the performances which would be great. Also, the execution, premise and acting look fantastic in the promos... Waiting for 17th June.

Omg! There’s no agenda in saying MTA is a copy of Judaai. No one is blaming the actors. At least I am not. It’s not like someone is trying to sabotage the project because so and so actor is in the show!! Are we that immature? I guess we are 😆
I haven’t seen any other drama which was a such an obvious copy of Bollywood or Hollywood. Yes similar story lines are there, but never to this extent. I don’t know why people are taking it yo heart.

It’s a forum, I think it’s a copy, and others don’t so it’s ok.

We all have our opinions. I might be wrong after watching a few episodes, if I watch.

For now I will rely on comments whether it’s worth it or not.

I have watched Damini and cheekh. Never did I once think it was a copy. This is the first I heard it. Didn’t watch the other show.

The only show where I thought it’s inspired by a Bollywood flick was Dillagi, but in it it was very cleverly included when Mehwish tells humayon that you must watch a lot of Bollywood movies that you are planning to take me back to my lover, like in hum dil day chukay sanam, without mentioning the name. But other than that detail, everything was new. Firstly Mehwish made up a boyfriend and it wasn’t true what she told humayon.

So my point is, stories are sometimes similar but this shows promos has failed to be anything other than a copy. I have nothing against Zahid or Sonya or Mansha. I am not a fan girl if anyone. So to say that only this show is targeted because of so and so is outrageous.

Anyways. We all might be very wrong when the show airs but for now it’s a copy.

Remember the sanam jung and Zahid Ahmed show, it was copied from another Pakistani drama And got lot of backlash then as well. So it happens.

I guess, mainly because they were not directly copies. Some makers, writers are very clever, they just take inspiration from a particular movie and present them in a different way. For example : In Damini and Cheekh ,the concept was same but they presented in a very different way. In movie too, the brother in law of the lead character actress was the culprit but Bhabhi Devar relation was not focussed like in Cheekh, it was more of husband versus wife where husband was shown trapped between his family and wife. They changed the whole characterisation of actors and here, it was Bhabhi Devar more in focus and husband was pretty much side character.

Same is with Baazigar and YDM. And large number of the dramas and makers do the same.

Copying is there in every drama almost. If you watch KRQ dramas, he himself show the same extra marital affairs in his every drama where a woman is in affair with other man. Be it Ayeza of TDKKH, or Sana Javed of ZYK or Ayeza of MPTH.

But here, they have copied everything even the characters, they could have shown some cleverness and brought the same story in a different way, promos are ditto copy. It's easier to judge them. MPTH was a copy of ZYK too but ZYK wasn't that popular to get noticed by people but Judaai is definitely a very popular movie of 90s, especially, it's the last movie of Sri Devi after which she left the industry and made a comeback with English Vinglish. And we shouldn't forget, during this Lockdown, people are more active on Social Media ,so, this copy thing getting viral is more significant now

Though, I still feel they might show the drama in a different way, as, presenting a movie of 3 hrs in 20 plus episodes can't be whole copy. Dialogues and execution might make the drama a big hit too.
