Fair enough. @bold I assumed that since Liberals oppose H1B restrictions and while Right Wingers in US want Trump to end H1B altogether. I am not sure you are assuming that people working in STEM are going to be excluded. If they start putting more restrictions on H1B then it’s most likely going to include stem field people too (especially people in tech since most people who get H1B are in tech).

On a side note ,a lot of Desi consultancies exploit the H1B a lot and pay less salary to their workers . Big US corporations like Facebook, Microsoft, Google aren’t the one using cheap labor .

Lol. H1-B hires aren’t cheap. Not in US based companies. H1-B employees have to prove they are skilled workers and the position can not be filled by an American citizen. So it is offered to H1-B worker. Pay scale is pretty high.

It’s Indian MNCs. They charge good amount to clients for services and pay less to their employees.
