But from whatever you told me, Nazifa loved and married Mitul and is still very much in love with him. She also loves and cares for the people whom she considers as her own, as her family...

Plus as you mentioned at one place, she can be stubborn too.

This is the basic character sketch that you gave me and I tried to recount most of the points from my memory... Iske alawa do you want me to recount something else??

So finally I have Prakat Ho Jaoing with my fan theory regarding Porer Meye. 😈 😈 😈

Now let me clarify, this is totally my perception based on the episodes, IV of the actors and surprisingly one particular sequence from Abhijeet Ka Inteqam. 🤓

So basically I want to discuss with you about the underlying emotion here.

Before I start, I have shared the most significant Nazifa-Shayan scenes except from the Dinner. So you have some idea. 👍🏼

There are three particular scenes solely focused on Nazifa which have to be addressed before I start the discussion.

The first sequence in on Episode 7. Nazifa was blankly staring at the ceiling when our dear GM marked his entry and started teasing her that a front desk executive should be cheerful as he/she represents the company. And as you know, he started talking dirty after that. 😡 So Nazifa shot back and at last she said “My daughter was 6 months old when I had to leave her in my MIL’s care and start this job. Whatever I am enduring, it’s because I have to keep three people alive. You asked me what’s on the ceiling? It’s a corpse - corpse of my dream and I was the executioner. So a person who has killed her own ambition and dreams, she doesn’t have anything to lose.”After the GM had left, she broke down crying. 😭 😭 😭

The second sequence was on Episode 21. It’s when Nazifa realized her mother Nargis had lied about cancer to bring her back and she and her father was face to face. Even then Nargis begged her to say sorry to her father for her sake and return. So Nazifa said, “He is not wrong. I did destroy my career. I have to struggle a lot now. But loving Mitul and marrying him wasn’t a mistake. And I’ll never ever seek forgiveness for that.” And her father was like - “Okay! Then things will continue as it was. I told you 10 years ago too, accept your fault and I’ll accept you. Otherwise you can live with his identity but not as my daughter.”

Third - I won’t call it a specific sequence but it was continuing through a couple of episodes. Nargis requested her husband to give her some money so that she could make a fixed deposit for Ariana. Even though her husband rebuked her at first, he transferred all his property in his wife’s name because deep down, even he was feeling tired that they had no heir and their only daughter wouldn’t touch his wealth.

But Nazifa denied to accept it because according to her, it was her father’s hard earned money and it didn’t matter who the official owner was. Since he didn’t accept Mitul, she would not take his money for Ariana who is Mitul and her kid. So her mother requested her MIL to put some sense into her because what if tomorrow she died like Mitul? What would happen to Ariana?

So that night, imaginary Mitul marked his entry again and questioned Nazifa that how exactly was she gonna take care of Ariana considering she didn’t have a good job and enough savings. In fact, her condition was such that at times she had to borrow money from Othoi. So Nazifa was crying and asking him that what should she do? Return to the person who could never accept Mitul despite knowing what a good person he was; or accept Shayan even when she doesn’t have any feelings for him?. So Mitul was like - Do whatever you want to do. Get married to Shayan or anyone – I couldn’t care less. But make sure that our daughter’s future is secured.

The next day, Shayan informed her that his father is returning within a couple of days as Nazifa asked about him on their dinner night and left the place. So Nazifa was like – This guy is so polite and kind! I can’t use him for his money.

So she talked with her friend who advised her to complete graduation and at that point she was like – sometimes she felt she was completely useless and had no talent either to support her family. So her friend encouraged her to sail through the difficult time and complete study in private so that she could apply for a better job, considering she was already working.

Hmmm... Quite an interesting post with really interesting points.

Now, coming to the IV. 😎

Prova was specific in her answer that the problem here is Nazifa's inner turmoil. When Shayan held her hand at their dinner - she had mixed reaction. Like any girl, she felt loved and it was a good feeling. But then again it was shocking for her as someone other than Mitul held her hand.

Prova can express but Nazifa can't and more importantly she doesn't want to. She is at constant war with her instincts. One can guess, a girl who loved a boy so much that she left behind her family and everyone and then the boy died. So she just can't step outside of Mitul's memory.

Now in line with the IV, there was one sequence in the show also. Frankly, if the monologue was Tanvir's best shot then I guess this scene was Prova's best shot; or at least one of the best. 😛

It was when Othoi told Nazifa that Shayan was falling for her and she was thinking about it. She saw Mitul again and he was rather laughing and said - you are about to get sick because you are continuously imagining me. And as usual, Nazifa was - I like to see you, to talk to you. So Mitul asked her whether she would spend the rest of her life holding on to his memory and she just shushed him and asked to come closer. Then she asked to check whether she had fever or not. So when he said yes, she offered her pallu as a piece of cloth. And when Mitul said, at least let me get a bowl of water, by then she started crying and took her tears in her hand and said - sat samundar se zyada hain yaha pe.

So she imagined Mitul to put her pallu on her forhead and when she came back to reality, she was crying helplessly and acknowledged she was lonely and why did he leave him alone? How could she live the rest of her life without him? 😭 😭 😭

Now coming to my original theory...... 😛

I think, at some point everyone gets tired and starts to retrospect their decision. Tries to see if they were right or wrong and then again call it love or stubbornness, there are some decisions that they don't want to change ever.

I was referring to Abhijeet also because somewhere I felt, he had this huge regret that he lost his memory and his mother died of that shock and he couldn't even remember her properly. But he loved his job also. So it was rather tiring and he was thinking about what defines him and what would he do after retirement.

In the same way, when I think about Nazifa, deep down she knows she destroyed her career unnecessarily. She was a really bright student and would have an amazing career if only she could complete her study. So in that line, she realizes that her father isn't completely wrong in rebuking her.

But then again she loved Mitul too much and luckily, he too was an amazing person. Considering he was alive, may be she would be able to resume her study and move forward. But his untimely death brought disaster.

So this is one decision of hers, which she essentially doesn't consider a mistake but can't help but acknowledge that life could have been different if she hadn't gotten married so early or the accident didn't occur.

As far as Shayan is concerned, personally I feel it's fondness. Unfortunately we don't have abundance of creeps in this world. A young widow who is also pretty but economically insolvent, she has had to struggle a lot; deal with people like GM on a regular basis who looked at her like a commodity. And then there is Shayan who is genuine. Who shows her the respect she deserves as a person. So whenever he is near her, she feels a good vibe and somewhere she feels sad for him that she can't reciprocate his feelings and unintentionally hurt him. But she is not in love with him, yet. 😊

Every person needs a companion. Not necessarily a partner but a friend also to share his/her worries and upon whom he/she can depend. She lost that person 8 years ago. And as a human being she too longs for love and friendship. So I guess, subconsciously she feels great when Shayan adores her or take care of her needs. But consciously she is still bound to Mitul and can't think about someone else.

So for me, it's rater the first stage of moving on. Where she is fighting her own instincts.
