Dankay ki chot par is a phrase in Urdu that refers to the instrument 'DankA' not dank.

Never heard of it. Can't even think of a sentence in Urdu using 'dank' metaphorically being used for goosebumps. The word for goosebumps is 'Raungtay' metaphorically and otherwise like 'dar kai maaray raungtay kharay hona'.

Dank is def an urdu word means snakebite and it is pronounced the same way as Junk in English... just replace J with D

Same! I thought it was Dang too, lol, because I've only heard the word being used. I actually asked my mother the other day because I was confused and she corrected me that it was dank.

So I assume it's just one of those easily mistaken words?

what about dank reh jaana? doesnt that mean heiraan reh jaana?
