The shiv mandir scene remain one of my favs still... it still stands out that despite the usual duppatta liptooing to prem ka face har 2 min baad there's still so much soul to PH ka bond that pull he feels for this girl he doesn't even know the name of. That dard ki wajah se rishta and soul to soul bond really works out even with such a cliche plotline ke bachpan main rishta ho gaya tha. This time it is standing out more to me and am feeling it more caz let me admit pehle I was a bit pissed too with the hit and miss all the time caz the young me also wanted PH ke jaldi happy milan and some lollypop stuff 🙈

So this time I am feeling it more what they are meaning to do with them and just my general frustration with aajkal ke soaps is making me appreciate this more jitna bhi layer dalne ki koshish hai it is working. I am also appreciating that they aren't attracted to each other caz of physical traits and they aren't the usual fight fight secretary boss template. Aajkalnyeh cliche balidaan for family template bhi unique ho gaya hai Who knew yeh din bhi aayega

Also not being biased but heer and meher ka bond feels so real and is so lovely banati nahi hai aaj kal ki tarah one can feel the deep love sirf boxes nahi check kiye huye and same for prem and preet ka pyar

Woh station scene just made me laugh cuz of the way he had his arms outstretched like some kind of a gate around her😆.....and then the 10 meter long dupatta scene with Prem looking like he just fell asleep standing there with the dupatta on his head😆.....I was noticing random things like a blue stamp of some sort on the border of the dupatta while it was on his face and that was making me laugh all the more😆

Re: sisters ka bond....yes it's pretty sweet and it ofcourse helps a lot that Meher was a natural actress from the get go....she brought a cute innocence to Meher's character....even though she was the younger sister who sometimes wanted pampering from her older sister, she still many times had mature advice for her sister too.

Lalit Juneja is one solid cartoon with his melodrama over his pyara Balraj and yeah the way he pushed that thaali away to stop Prem from doing the pooja....LOL

Mujhe toh bechaare Prem ke liye bura lag raha hai.....har dusre din his dad pops up and says ok marry THIS girl now😆.....and Prem is moping around confused ki apni soulmate ka wait karun ki random girl se shaadi kar loon as daddy says😆....the long self-reflecting monologues they gave him while he bajaaoed his tuntuna in gham....haha.

If they had a penny for everytime some character in the show says, "Bhagwaan insaano ko jodiyon mein banaa ke bhejta hai", they would all be millionaires🤣.....I swear every epi had this dialogue like 10 times😆....

Preet deffo seemed fed up of his dad's bakwaas while Prem was in mahaanta mode of jo daddy bolenge, main karunga😆

Watching this, you also realize why they don't make these storylines anymore.....cuz the expectation is that no one would sacrifice like this in today's times😆....ki chup chaap gardan jhuka ke parents jo bhi bolein, kar lo.

Even though there are some OTT bits, overall they did establish PH ka soulful bond pretty decently in terms of feeling a pull without understanding why....the whole angle of being drawn to each other powerfully even if they don't know each other....and they built it up gradually with the way Prem first sees her eyes and is drawn to the pain in her eyes, and each subsequent meeting where he learns bits and pieces about her leaves makes him more drawn to her.....like in the shiv mandir, despite the giant lulzy dupatta bit again, it was more about the fact that he heard her crying about how she feels all alone now having lost everyone in her life.

Even their lighter scene is I guess still a pretty unique one....I haven't seen it replicated exactly like that since with the way he lowers her arm with the lighter wala hand and gets to see her and then her putting the ring back on his finger.....lol....and Preet ka dialogue in that bit is funny too as he sees Prem chasing after a girl the first time in his life.😆

Waise toh storyline was kinda dumb that Heer buys Chachi's lies about Lalit so easily and starts hiding her identity from Prem too😆....but still, the build up of the angst as Prem keeps feeling drawn to this mystery girl and the pain in her eyes was well done. The scene when he finally asks her about the pain in her eyes after he learns she's working in his office was good too.....by that time, HC was already pretty good in this role.....and I think they cast AG mainly cuz of her eyes....she could project that silent pain in her eyes pretty decently that they needed for the basic backdrop between PH....her dialogue delivery was bad but when she was silent, the chemistry seemed to work b/w them😆

+1 to everything I have pretty much the same thoughts but esp at bold the chemistry was really working esp when she didn't had to do much😆 Word about aajkal kahan hai aise obedient bache too what was really unacceptable was bau ji ki arzoo badhti hi jaa rahi thi he didn't just stop at controlling prem ki zindagi he kept going ahead for his other children too and then khao moonh ki with them being not so obedient I can't just take him seriously with his badalte decisions everyday. Poor prem yes one ends up feeling for him caz usko baba ki ne mandir ka ghanta bana dia tha koi bhi aake baja jaaye everyday new khilona chahiye bauji ko toh prem fulfill kare. It got absurd with ash ka rishta too bhai jab heer supposedly marr gayi toh give him a chance

I stopped at that engagement scene last night pohnch gaya heer ka chala prem ki ungli main automatically

Heer toh dumb hai hi itni aasani se ho koi jo bol deta hai yeh dono ussi raste chal padhti hai pehle bata ke pata toh karo whether woh chachi sach bhi bol rahi hai ke nahi 😆 Also heer uss chachi pe bhatia kar rahi hai jo agar sach bhi bol rahi ho toh bhi jhoot hi lagta hai just her personality😆 oh I was also very bothered by the closeups of heer ke chapped lips in those dry asss matte colors bechari ko lip balm do koi😆 I couldn't look beyond 😆

Hahah also woh duppatte pe stamp maine bhi notice ki thi🤣

Also word about mehar having this innocence yet her being so sensitive and samjhdaar

The lighter scene is lovely too and that's what I mean ke usual cliches se bhara hai show phir bhi kuch alag hai uss main that brings the angst out nicely despite being the same har show main use kiye jaane wala stuff.🤣 I had to laugh at prem keeping his pinky finger straight so heer can slip her ring back on his finger😆

Also help duppatte nahi parde ya kapde ke than pehnti thi 100 100 gazz lambe🤣 like heer is in the middle of the living room running and uska duppatta staircase ke top pe prem ke aage lehra raha hai🤣 so they got SLB ka extra aesthetic too in otherwise kichadi🤣

Yep I hear you....I was thinking the same.....tropes toh more or less same hain, but they executed some elements nicely and that is why I think PH found a big fan following.

I'm a little ahead in the epis so I've seen their first O Re Piya sequence also when he helps her hide in that dulhan getup....it was interesting the way they used handholding between PH as a pretty organic thing....it felt like an extension of their soulmate connection that he started taking a hold of her hand as if she was already his....and it was portrayed in sync in such a way that it never felt like an imposition....it almost had a gentle/protective quality about it.

I was also weirdly reminded of the fact that Shivika had some scenes like this where Shivaay would hold her hand and then forget that he's holding it until someone would point out what he's doing😆

Haha at the SLB aesthetic with the 100 feet long dupattas.....yep they deffo seemed SLB inspired and no real dupatta would be that long so it was funny how the dupatta would automatically elongate specifically for the scenes😆

just caught up and once again fell in love with this one. this was such a popular PH scene backin the time and i was glad to find that it still holds the same magic.☺️ word about how it had that gentlness and protective quality. Also notice the Haq Prem shows on heer Aise hi bina jaane when he returns the chunni and she hides behind him Aww. in the whole O re piya seq they are basically just staring at each other while holding the hand yet it has this mystic quality of sorts where they are basically joined by soul.

Now idk if it's only me but from word go it never felt like they need to do the whole formal get to know each other etc it was always a connection the very moment they came face to face they felt like one entity and one unit much like shivika as you said but with shivika they still had to go step by step one hurdle at a time and solve their own individual issues while solidifying this bond with each other while here it was like nothing around them mattered right from the start when they came together and they never felt like they need to get married and all ya abhi abhi mile hain so they are strangers which they were if we see practically. totally agree with organic flow of handhold but also how there is absolutly no awkwardness when he ends up coming so close heer is totally comfortable with him being around hehe. neither does it make him awkward meanwhile the guy can't have a decent convo with ashlesha or any other girl so to say🤣

the dard scene was really nice too and wha i liked again was otherwise kisi ko kuch na kehne wali sab kuch apne andar rahne wali heer kitne aaram se sunaooed Prem when he fired her she didn't hesitate for a moment while otherwise she cannot even stand upto that chachi either

oh btw i would love to see some PH gif's from you

Preet and Mehar ka bhi atlast interaction ho gaya even if he only balmed her and phir PB ki wajah se maafi maangne gaya hahah and PB ko bhi pata chal gaya ke heer toh uske bagal main hai aur woh poore shehar main dhindora peet raha hai. the Prem and Mehar scene is super adorable and their relationship will remain so cute. so much apna pan right from the first proper interaction awww these 4 always had such cute sa bond. this is the first episode that didn't needed any FF heheh i love this epi as a whole i am talking about epi 33

again i am reminded of someone gale padna of jiju/jheth ji baat baat pe in name of bonding and it always looking like Miss Birdie Attacking jija ji and forcing ehrself upon him than any actual bonding and that sirf wohi bonding nahi hoti. Aww prem ki mischievous smile after while leaving to heer hahah Prem bhi chupa rustam hai😆

i will remain super biased for this milan🤣 this phase was AG's best acting wise
