hum tv isnt a flop.. all their 8pm shows except tum ho wajah are crossing 2 million views within a day or two and shows like yeh dil mera and pyar ke sadkey grab nearly 5 million viewers.

the trp system in pakistan is from a relatively small number of homes they measure in ratings so i take trps with a grain of salt. and plus hum tv is still 3rd in a crowded entertainment sector (geo, ary, aplus, express, play tv, aaj tv, etc) in the ratings chart which is still decent.

yes ertugrul is famous in pakistan. i dont watch historical series in general so i dont watch ertugrul either,, i also have liked turkish serials in the past but nowdays i watch pakistani and indian dramas.

Humtv is not a flop channel. In Pakistan these ratings don't matter that much. As most of the audience watch dramas on mobile so YouTube views do matter. Pks though not getting high trps but it is famous among masses. Trps mostly matter in indian soaps where less trp show get shut down. But here in Pak trp aye ya na aye Drama complete chalta hai bich mein band nhi hota.

Yes ertugrul is famous in Pak but it does not mean that audience don't watch pak dramas. As a audience we want variation so we can watch dramas from different countries. That does not mean that turkish dramas are best and Pakistani dramas are bad. Turkish dramas apni jaga par achy hein pakistani apni jaga par there should not be any comparison.
