There are multiple groups.
1. Protestors with a purpose of getting justice. Genuine people.
2. Bandwagon protestors.
3. Faking as protestors but actual motive is to create unrest and fail the protests.
4. Opportunists waiting to take advantage of protests.
5. Freeloaders waiting to loot and make money.
Then there’s some genuine cops, rest with vengeance.
