I agree... Regional shows or content shows of DD and others don't get the recognition they deserve...

The biggest reason being that they are not hyped and then they have budget restraints...

Honestly at particular scenes I was like everything we have discussed on clarity and transition and more importantly matured character - the makers have introduced it all.

Interesting... It feels good when the makers show such things which the viewers actually like to see... (Of course apart from the usual stuff.)

Well, even in this show there has been scenes I found to be unnecessary dramatization and some were only for comic relief. But as long as the good stuff surpasses the bad stuff and you actually have a proper story with properly developed characters, it becomes amazing. 😊

Okay guys! Since I was gonna post about different sequences and relevant video clips of the show I was talking about; I thought to add the summary here.

I am using the characters’ name here because honestly, the craze regarding LEADs or PROTAGONISTs in recent time has ticked me off.

So the main character’s name is Nazifa. She comes from a rich family and was a brilliant student. When she got admission into Medical School, she shifted to the hostel there and met Mitul – an unemployed, poor guy. Soon they got married secretly. When she informed her parents about it, outraged, her father commanded her to give Mitul divorce. That’s the beginning of the clash between the father-daughter duo. Her father wanted her to acknowledge she committed a mistake and when she declined, he said if she had left his house, he’ll disown her. He mocked her saying one day, her life would get destroyed and she’ll return crying and that’s the day he’ll take her back. So the girl, as stubborn as her father, replied she would die but never come back.

Good for her, Mitul was a genuinely good person and did everything in his power to ensure she could continue her study. But unfortunately, her MIL had a stroke and became paralyzed and despite Mitul’s reluctance, she came back from hostel to take care of her. Later she got cured and Mitul and Nazifa had a baby but he died soon enough in an accident. Since she could not resume her study, she got stuck with her Undergraduate certificate. Lucky for her, the Chairman of Mitul’s company was a kind guy and offered her a job as a receptionist in one of his companies.

So, the story started from 10 years after Nazifa and Mitul had first met. They did focus on the harassment she faced from the GM of the company and Mitul’s elder brother and all.

Then enters Shayan - the chairman’s youngest son who was studying Law in London but came back temporarily as the Chairman went to Hajj and his elder brother was looking after other factories of theirs. He fell in love with Nazifa and proposed her only to get rejected and learn how much she still loved Mitul.

The third prominent character is Othoi – Nazifa’s neighbor whom Nazifa considers as her little sister. She too loves Nazifa and her family dearly. She is a bright student, just got admission into university and studies Law. Usually she comes across as the regular naughty young adult but has a matured side also and upon meeting Shayan on several occasion realizes he loves Nazifa and secretly helps him so that Nazifa reciprocates his feelings.

So, my first favorite scene was that of se**al harassment. It’s a bit odd that I am starting my discussion with this topic. 🤔 But I am going by the episodes' number so…..

In the sequence, Shayan heard a conversation between Nazifa and their GM that how he kept on putting extra pressure on her for rejecting his advances. So in his cabin he asks him politely that even though it was unintentional, he heard their conversation and harassment at workplace is a serious accusation. He had a flourishing career. So if suddenly any girl files a complaint it would be bad for him and that he should apologize.

I loved this scene because of the subtlety and non-violent way they chose here. I don’t know what the makers had planned for the upcoming episodes but I loved the fact that they didn’t choose the dramatic, filmy way where the creepy manager would try to molest the heroine and hero would barge in there and save the day.

I guess it’s one of the reasons that right now I am in love with this character. He is everything that we wish to see in a character – someone who observes and hardly loses calm, someone who is free spirited yet sensitive.
