And those lots of people aren't smart either.

Her quoting that means she is advocating those words, and its meaning. And it is not smart.

Yes she can go on with "oh my religion says so and I believe it", but I won't call her smart for that. Naive maybe, but smart lol no.

Yes anyone who uses religion to justify things which scientifically can't be proven or don't hold logical solutions are not smart people.

Anyone who says any of the natural disaster is an act of god is a fool.

Their is a difference between spiritual and a sheep religious follower. I respect spiritual people(although I don't always agree), but sheep religious people, I can't take them seriously at all.

Correction - She quoted out of context. Just randomly correlating circumstances and bringing in Quranic verses is more of a desservice than enlightening people.

The quoted verse and verses before/after this narrates the story of Prophet Moses & Pharaoh on how time & again God sent Moses with guidance to save people of Egypt

So you cannot take anyone who is religious seriously. Good for you.

If scientifically something cannot be proven, that means it is still up for debate. So if someone has a belief there, how can that person be called "not smart"? I would understand if the person wants to believe something unscientific like the Sun revolving around the Earth. But anything else that has not been proven yet, on what basis would you judge them?

Not really, if you hold logically contradictory beliefs, and you are oblivious to them, then you are an idiot, which she certainly is.

Secondly, just cause something cannot be proven, doesn't mean we entertain all sort of nonsense, I can't prove that there isn't an invisible giraffe in my garden, that doesn't mean I should entertain the possibility of there being one.
