" Chokher Bali" : A Timeless Classic Revisited - Page 2

Not a fan of the movie. When I saw the movie Chokher Bali, i could not make head or tail of what was happening and why this was supposed to be a classic. Yes Aish was beautiful and had an affair, but beyond that her character in the movie did not make any sense. I connected more with Raima Sen character who was still so kind and considerate to Binodini character.

But when I saw the Chokher Bali Tagore series on Netflix, I loved it. Radhika Apte did a fab job and you could understand her feelings and what she was going through, even as she had an affair. The ending was quite poignant. Sumeet Vyas, in contrast did not have much of an impact.

Yes, totally agree ! I was prepared to dislike her character as just being vain and selfish, but she bowled me over.

You’re such a hater, get over it. Ash is not the most pathetic actress. Some of her performances have been better than anything Alia can do.

Alia is so pathetic that if she was in Devdas she would make Devdas gay and forget about his alcohol addiction - because that’s how unfortunate she is

It was a wonderful movie. Truly a timeless classic. Aishwarya was simply perfect as Binodini. She nailed it .
