@Peace: I think it would've been a completely different story. But it would be equally interesting. I imagine it would be a little similar to Akshara and Naitik's story after marriage but Kunal's attraction evolve's into love while for Kuhu it's a more longer gradual process of falling in love.

AU vm: Now that I’m thinking about it, It would be fun to see if Kunal was attracted first, that would mean he was actively moving on from Swetha. In the show, I felt like everyone was forcing him to move on. I felt like he should’ve been the one to search for that closure and end the chapter. Correct me if I’m wrong, that’s what I felt at least.
And maybe if they were still going over to Maheshwari’s for a proposal and he realized it was Kuhu- the girl he was smitten with- he would’ve stopped his mom from rejecting her. Just Maybe 🤔or maybe I’m thinking and talking too much and I should stop lol 🤪

I rewatched the Ketki wedding sequence. And he did hesitate before answering ‘no’. I think he just really wanted to know what was happening so he said no so that she wouldn’t leave. She was trying to get away to go to Mishti and he wasn’t letting her go because he wanted to know the truth. But she didn’t have time to explain so she says,”do you trust me”, He was about to say yes but hesitates because his desire to know the truth takes over. So he says no to keep her there so she can tell him what’s happening. He only let her go after Abir came in between them.

Kunal is an extremely complicated character, sometimes all heart and then other times all mind. It’s confusing for me lol y’all are helping me understand him better.
