The texture becomes awful when they do that with meat. Iran aur Turkey wale bhi beat the meat to pulp and make it gooey. (Waise Iran wale Haleem mostly meetha khaaye jaate hai upar cheeni sprinkle kar ke... just wheat, meat ka pulp thing is the same)

Bengal ke haleem mein whole hi rakkha jata hai meat... itna disgusting dekhne mein nahin hota.
