Anyways watched the 2011 movie Contagion a couple of days back ,,it's like we are living the movie at present.

A must watch in the current scenario..

umesh kamat ha actor khoop sidelined hoto asa mala vatat.mala khoop avadato..may b he is not doing much projects.he loves to do plays rather than serials.bt whatever serials he had done.logically may b changalya nastil pan he was at his best.bt still not too much in limelight,not so sm active,away from showbizz.

he should b used by directors in films also.

Yes Umesh is a good actor.. I so wanted Radha in ELDG to end up with Abir rather than that obad dhobad Swapnil aka Ghana..

Quite agree Umesh is a good actor. He is natural and does not put on "styles" like Swapnil and Ankush. But he too is not getting younger. The new faces like Amey and Abhinav are just not upto the mark.

Although he is 42 years old but looks like 30-32 years Umesh can pass off as young hero. But solo hero Umesh kamat films have flopped miserably.Even if Swapnil ,Ankush don't look like young heroes or not good actors , they are still most saleable names in Marathi film industry.

It's high time some talented youngsters pick up the void created for young heroes now. Suvrat Joshi , ameya wagh can't do that. Ankush & Swapnil should do character roles or middle aged fathers. Although these two are most saleble names in heroes and among heroines sai, mukta are saleble names.

I agree that Marathi movies need to move on from Swapnil,Ankush playing young heros. On the girls side also they need to move on from only Sai,Mukta,Amruta, Sonalee etc.

Vaibhav Tatvavadi,Siddharth Chandekar, Lalit Prabhakar are some of the younger ones who are promising. Among girls, Sayalee Sanjeev, Vaidehi Parshurami, Shivani Surve, Hruta Durgule are some of the promising ones.

Of the current lot, Lalit definitely has that spark , he has proved it with Anandi Gopal and smile please, also he has a good screen presence ..Vaibhav, Sid Chandekar have been in Marathi industry since an odd 8, 10 years, but are still struggling..Amey Wagh chi acting bari wattey..

Vaidehi Parshurami is a good actor,,cannot say much abt the others..

The problem in Marathi industry is that they are made on a shoe string budget, so the producers are sceptical to put their money on non bankable actors..asey kiti movies ahet je alet ani gelat ani audience la patyach nahi.MPM 3 sarkha hardcore promotion me tari kuthlyach movie cha baghitla nahi..leaving the odd radio channels jyachyavar jaun hey loka promotions kartat..

forget abt young faces in case of heroins,nobody is going to take them in main lead if its a heroine centric role.whenever such films comes, only there r few names.jr.sonalee,sai,priya,mukta,pooja sawant,bt pooja is a good actress,amruta ,mrunmayee,

other actresses mentioned above like vaidehi,sayali, shivani r just to add glamour and that too if any senior actor is with them.

bt in case of senior heroins,no problem as above mentioned actresses can play lead roles nicely ,r very experienced,salable faces.

marathi industry is lacking behind in hero material.

abhinav berde acc to me is not a promising guy .

yes,lalitis there.they can even go with chinmay udgirakar,shashank ketkar, gashmir mahajni(ha actor bahutek tyachya vadilansarkh marthi madhe sadanar😆)suvrat joshi even that one in fatteshikast ,i forgot his name ,who played bahiraji naik.there r actors.bt marathi industry is not ready to go with taddan masala films,they r interested in either biopics where actor is fixed i.e subodh bhave or historic films.

make films which r only paisa vasul with new fces, then see d result.thode divas content visara.

Ani jitu kiti jaad zalela tya veli. Amruta fakt slim hoti. Baki to dhome and kshiti jog pan kitti jaadi hoti tya film madhe.
