My mom really believes in the karva chauth thing because she grew up with it watching it in her family. I don't think it's wrong as long it's the woman's choice and she is not forced to fast but it just seems a bit lopsided to me.

My Dadu(maternal grandpa) used to touch my grandma's feet. He used to be out of station for work and my grandma had to handle the house and kids. He had immense respect for her❤️

Huh Interesting! I didn't know it wasn't celebrated in the south! It's a pretty big festival up in the north especially Punjab and UP. My grandma was complaining that it's a lot more commercialized now 😆

Is touching feet something sacred?.... I often touch....mine...family...friend...for foot messages...and patients....to comfort them...
