Part 6
Ishita completed making dinner and then told usha to call everyone . She was still setting dining table when everyone arrives. All settled and ishita started serving food , Mami ji saw and said " ishita puttar you had mafe so many things ."
I- no mami ji ,i just prepared what you people had told only added one potato fritters and lassi to the food .
Mama- arey waah puttar ,ye to bahut achcha kiya tumne. Tune to ekdum apne village ki yaad dila di .
I- maine socha if i m preparing punjabi food then lassi in necessary thats why .
Mama - bahut badiya kiya puttar ji .
Soon all started eating , all praised the food very much ,mostly his Mama as he has missed punjabi food alot . After having lunch mami ji called ishita to her and gave a box to her . Ishita opened it and found there was a pair of diamond earring in it . Her eyes widened and she said " Mami I can't take it ,its too expensive. "
Mami ji looked towards Raman and said " puttar bol apni biwi ko that she can't deny ,its nit only her wedding gift but also the neg(gift) for preparing such nice food for us ."
Ishita too looked at Raman for help when he told " ishira take it ,its not only earrings but their blessing too ."
Ishita nodded and took it , after that all went to rest . Rest of the day was normal , rinky and ishita bonded well ,both shares a lot of their college moments and friends talk . Raman didn't go anywhere today but he spends few hours in his studio , may be working on his new album .
It was night , all retired to their respective bedroom calling it a night. Raman was trying to write a song ,sitting on the bed when ishita entered the room. She wapked to him and passed the earring box to him , he looked at it then to her ,then spoke " its yours ,not mine ."
I- haan but aapki mami ne diya hai to ..
R- to bhi main nahi le sakta because I don't wear such long earrings .
I- leking main kaise le sakti hoon .
R- don't you think you are asking very stupid questions .
I- no these are not stupid ,if I will take these you will again call me gold digger .
Raman looked at her and spoke " I had already told you I m really sorry for judging you ,keep it, its yours ok .
I- I m a student ,I don't need it so keep it with you for me .
R- (smiling)- ok .
He then passed keys to her and spoke " keep it in the locker."
Ishita didn't moved just stood there ,he again looked at her and asked " ishita I m trying to work ,don't stand in front of me like that . De di na chabhi ,now keep it and sleep ."
I- main aapki locker khol loon .
He made a dirty face and spoke " thats why I had given keys to you ."
I- I just wanted to confirm ,you actually want me to open your locker .
R- yep I actually want ..
I- but..
R- arey meri ma ,I trust you now will you please leave .
I- ok just one more question.
R- an kya .
I- how we are sleeping.
R- me in bed ,you on couch.
I- couch ?
R- yeah its almost a bed and very comfortable too ,so you are sleeping there . No more talking now ,go and do your work and let me do mine .
Ishita gave him a dirty look and went to bathroom to change in her night suit .She was still in bathroom when her phone rang which was kept in night stand besude Raman.He made a irritated face but didn't picked it .Raman again went back to his work but the phone rang again and he shouted " ishita your phone is ringing,just take it from here or I will throw it ".
Before he completed himself the phone stopped ringing,Raman took a sign of relief and again tried to concentrate but again the phone started ringing ,he picked the phone in anger but stopped when he saw a name Sachin flashed in her screen ,he got suspicious and thought to recieve the phone but before he pick the call ended and soon after that a whatsapp message popped up saying " where are you ishita ,I m trying to contact you . Please call me asap ."
Raman got disturbed seeing the message and started thinking negatively. Now he couldn't concentrate on his song and started waiting to confront ishita . Soon she showed up saying " why were you shouting ".
R- (angrily)- who is sachin ?
I- why are you asking ?
R- don't answer my question with a question just give the damn answer .
I- you can't talk to me like that .
R- I can ,seems you forget that I m your husband.
I- seems you forget that our marraige is no strings attached marraige.
Raman smiled sarcastically and said " ohh thats why you were pretending that "Jab main sirf papers mein aapki wife hoon then I shouldn't interfere or even had any right to be hurt so its ok ." Bullshit you were just trying to cover your actions ."
I- shut up RKB.sachin is just my classmate.
R- is that so ,then why he is so eager to talk to you .
I- I don't know .
R- call him and talk to him in front of me .
I- I m not going to do that . You are not my father.
R- but I m your husband and Gardian too if you know that .
I- you are doubting on me ?
R- I m not saint as you , just call him now either I will call him and tell him about us
I- you were one who don't wanted to be associated with me .
R- are you calling or should I call .
Ishita gave him a deadly glare and called sachin , he picked after few rings . Ishuta talked to him and came to know that he was informing about some new project in which he was partnered with ishita and that has to be completed wothin two days . As she was om leave he had called her , they talked some more then hing the call. Ishita glared Raman while he nervously scratched the back of his neck and said
" haan to I wanted to know about your friends and acquaintance ."
Ishita (angrily)- don't try to change the topic ,you were doubting on me .
R- I ... i ..I m sorry ..
I- no RKB you are not . This is not done , you called me gold digger and opportunist, I took it ,you told that there will be no strongs attach relationship between us ,I agreed ,you don't wanted me to with you ,I didn't try to meet you in these days ,we lived like stangers in these years and suddenly you want access over my life .
Saying so she lays on couch and turbed to other side ,ignoring him .
