There be 2 versions.
North mein it's lachchha paratha.
Kerala mein it's parotta (I think), made with coconut oil.
Both have different tastes, and both taste like heaven with mutton or chicken (chholey/rajma is also kind of okay, but not as good). It's best to have it streetside at night. Kind of fascinating to watch it being made. š
Don't like both, don't like that flaky thingy at all š¤®. I just like the regular roti, naan, phulka... And if courses the aloo parantha, gobi etc. Not a fan of tandoori roti too.
All this reminds me of namak mirch paratha not sure if many are aware it. Whatta great evening snack it makes with chai.
