I have never attempted a fried egg in my life so definitely wouldn't be able to make that with instructions and only recently got the hang of boiling rice properly.

For someone like Mahjabeen and many others, if they never had to do something in their life, how do you expect them to know how? Even with instructions, a person doesn't always pick something up on the first try. I know it takes me a few tries sometimes.

You have such high expectations of people. You are on the internet so a bit of browsing will show you images of people failing at the simplest of cooking and tasks. Google cooking/baking fails. It's mind-boggling how people can fail so spectacularly at the simplest of tasks - Mahjabeen isn't an outlier. Having a mental disability is not a criteria for not knowing or picking up on something right away.

how can you judge me saying i have high expectations of people when im only judging a fictional character here 😂

No need to be offended by comment wasnt directed towards you or anyone here. I myself cannot do a lot of things.

You're taking my comments way too seriously girl. Chill.

Also, i get it shes naive and innocent. But my point here was that the writer is trying to show how both these characters are facing some sort of mental health issues in their life. Look at Abdullah even he shows signs of autism.

And FYI I have studied Psychology so I dont need to be browsing on the internet to read up signs of mental illnesses. Maybe you can do that yourself?

I didn't mean anything bad by it, I simply said your expectations are high if you feel that someone probably has a disorder if they can't perform a simple task. I was only informing you of my struggles and other people too that it's very much possible even if one doesn't have any issues. I was only making fun of myself there. What was so wrong in that?

I wasn't offended. No where was my comment rude either. I was simply making an observation and relating things to myself. It's a show and we are all here to discuss it. I didn't realize I couldn't comment on your posts. My bad. I will make sure not to next time.

For both of them, their parents are to be blamed. Abdullah has been very abused from a young age, before Sarwar he witnessed his mom being abused by his father, and he has a mother who doesn't take a stand for him or point out Sarwar's misdeeds. So him having issues such as social anxiety are justified and well documented in real life cases too. As for Mahjabeen, her parents failed her. They are from a lower social class and she has lived a sheltered existence. In the last episode her mom did not bother to hear her daughter properly in regards to Sarwar, neither did the parents warn her against Sarwar and neither did the mom discuss things like intimacy, etc. Even after her rishta to doctor Hammad her mom didn't discuss these things. Mahjabeen is a product of her parents failed upbringing. It has been stated in interviews that they don't have psychological disorders. I think that these two can thrive and become "normal" given a healthy environment.

Woah, when did I tell you to look up signs of mental illness on the internet? I only told you to Google cooking fails to see how people fail so hard at simple things. Please point out to me exactly where I told you to Google mental illness because I am seriously confused right now with why you said all that. And thanks but FYI I also graduated with a Psychology degree along with health sciences and a whole bunch of other stuff.
