Tishnagi Dil Ki? 😲 not much😕. But at that time I got addicted to it, because it was a romantic drama, and I was under the charm of Azfu.😳

how old is your kid tho is he young?

He is 10 yrs old masha Allah . 😃

and yes reading Quran is different because it has tajweed and certain rules to follow too...i am planning to finish it all by 27th Ramadan every year i do just last year i was unable to

May Allah help you complete reading it this year, I am proud of you coz you are trying your best to read it with tajweed and everything. I usually read it that way in other months, but in Ramadhan I read it quickly coz I want to finish it 2 times.😳

how did your first fast go? mine went well but after iftar i got a headache and now i still feel sick but still had sehri i hope i am able to fast tomorrow

I know fasting for 18 hours must be tough ,😒 I get headach in the 1st day too, but I didn't expect to have a problem in my stomach next day. anyway I will check what I eat from now on.😃

oh thats nice does your hubby go with you?

No he lives in Kuwait, there he works.😒

i am always spending Ramadan with my parents

Your parents too live in UK?😲 masha Allah , you are lucky. 😃 I was lucky too to be with my parents for the longest time among my siblings😆, but then I got married and my life turned upside down.

I was a religious woman before marriage, somewhat like Ujala, that's why I relate to her. There are many similarities between both of us.😉 You see her character didn't make much sense by the middle of the drama, and we started feeling that she got against what she preached. 😕 oh yes. This happened to me too.😆

I know ramzaan is fun time too.so many of my friends have fed me lovely food around ramzaan...but it's cooking praying reflection and prayers...I like the vibe of festival spirit .

Shopping I love too specially online one lol....but now everything is just suspended in air ....even I like staying at home ....am glad you are with your extended family.......have fun.

Yes. There's no lockdown here. Everything is back to normal. I am hesitated though.😕 so I met with my sisters twice in the first 3 days of Ramadhan . 😃 it is a beautifull feeling, and after staying away from them for the year and meet in this period of time every year, adds to the beauty of this festival.

In Pakistani dramas we don't get to see many festivals or eid special episodes, as we get in Indian daily soaps. I became an expert in Indian festivals after watching them.😆

Hina I feel same about books too....dramas even now am watching a few...I am watching a web series on Amazon prime called panchayat...it's amazing and not at all dirty and very authentic...

Awida am glad you are having fun...hina are you doing 18 hr fast....it's hard man...I do it often but I do for health reasons...first week when I start is hardest...so I can imagine.

Be careful about lockdown awida...it's still serious public health issue.....

So reading quraan can take 1 month is it?

I thought it was not that big ...I only read translation once..and not fully...am glad you are reading it in auspicious month...may God bless you...

Btw I watched 3 episodes of zindagi gulzar hai for fun...I realized Pakistani drama quality was too good back then guys...I mean look at skill level...too good

Thanks for the warning about lockdown. I don't go out very often. And there's no confirmed cases. Our country is closed because of the war. So insha Allah we'll be safe.😊

About Holy Quraan reading. You can finish it in one day.. but if you want to read it with full understanding, and tajweed ( a way of reciting Holy Quraan) it may take 3 days . Depends of your free time. But most of ppl finish it through Ramadhan to get a big reward from Allah. 😃 I used to finish it once ..but after my marriage I try to finish it twice, coz I read quickly.😳

Coming to Indian festivals. I think there are many, and I thought what we see in dramas is happening in real life too. I was wondering how can ppl afford all those celebrations, food, dresses, fire crackers, music ..😲 But now I understand that in dramas they make it bigger.

Btw..do you fast on carvachaut?😃

oh great...good to know...

About war in Yemen I understand the human tragedy there....about festivals people do celebrate with big pomp don't get me wrong but Diwali is biggest of all..and it is celebrated as hugely as you see in drama but so many other festival are regional so depends on which part of india you are from and then you celebrate...like navratri is more Gujarati and Punjabi don't do it same way so most of festivals are cultural more than religious...

As per karvachauth it's huge in Punjab and rest of north india but I don't do it as in my religion any fasting is prohibited and my in-laws are very religious..but people do it to get dressed up and get gifts and punjabis sometimes follow Sikhism and Hinduism both so that is why you see it and films made it huge fashion now a days.so dramas make it bigger but mainly big festivals are Diwali karvachauth holi rakhi for us north indians and maker sskranti too..it's hard to explain lol india is complex and very diverse...
