Re: Dutta having to spell it out.....haha yes, his exasperation with the dumbos was another level of entertainment....Chanda toh was busy being a chep only but Dutta had no patience for any fools....doctor ko bhi jhaad diya ki yeh kaisi surgery ki where I still only see hazy stuff😆

And the logistics of him managing to climb onto the fan🤣.....woh toh eternal mystery rahegi.....we are supposed to believe that cuz he was THE DUTTA, woh andha hone ke bawajood bhi pankhe pe koodi maar sakta tha🤣

Ok, so I'd forgotten that Dutta managed to self-train himself to fight blind while he was hanging out in that random basement🤣.....jokes apart, they actually used some dimaag in showing him gradually managing to identify sounds and focus on what targets to hit.

ROFL@ the bit when he sliced off some of Seema's hair with a knife during target practice🤣

And Dutta being Dutta, managed to find a throne like chair to sit on in that basement too😆

This bit was touching waise...."Fikar mat kar, Nakku....tujhe dekhe bina Bappa bhi mujhe tujhse door nahin kar sakta"

Bechaare DN ke kitne hit or miss huye before reunion....lol literally being in the same car, same house and not realizing it😆

Yes that was respite in that track it was like Finally kuch toh kia Dutta ne 😆 Dimaag wala tha na bhai so thank God he used it it was nice and 😆 at seems ke baal flying and seems ki shakal at that. Pehle I was laughing at her when Dutta asked her to attack him she was like nah yeh kya nayi trick hai ab🤣

Yes the throne was nice touch ke uss kabar khane main bhi he managed to find his place and what was even funnier was moments later kala was shown sitting on the same sofa in patilwadi like ussi set ka doosra chair😆

Haha yes, finally Dutta got to do something. Woh itna frustrate ho chuka tha by then just hiding and moving from house to house and not being able to fight his enemies 😆

The other hilarious bit was Dutta ke bodyguards being scared of him when they figured out he’s in that house and lol the way Dutta slowly slowly was targeting each one and udaaoing them. Good action in that epi 😆....Suds bhi darr gaya thinking ki pata nahin kahaan se aake Dutta thok dega 🤣

That bit when Dutta writes “Nakusha” on the wall was reminiscent of when he saw her name on the tree in the Amber pe milte hain sequence.

Oh I loved that episode when ek akela blind dutta was bhari on suds ki fauj and them being so scared thinking ke pata nahi kaunsi fauh bana li dutta ne in hiding🤣 Suds la epic oh damn am screwed face was EPIC and ek ek kadam phoonkh phoonkh ke rakhna.

I was also amused by suds ki bajoing from every side be it the hostages at home ,kala or blind bhau 😆

I missed Dutta ke black and brown suits so much in this phase too. All these silky colorful kurtas were so not him. I missed them in pre shadi phase too but then he used to mix with his "work" wardrobe😆. Again that was an element so well put together too that once he opened his heart to nakku colors came into his life until next dhoka but I am biased towards his dark suits

But on this rewatch, I'm not as allergic to his silk kurtas and I'm actually fine with them this time....haha dunno if ab umar ho gayi hai😆 ya on a rewatch/binge watch, some things just don't bother you as much as they did when you watched the airing of a show in real time. Tab shaayad expectations zyada ho jaati hain from each epi and you also hold on stronger to your expectations from a character.

I feel like I've understood this last phase of DN's journey better in this rewatch....cuz real time mein toh kaafi distraction bhi tha of the impending MR exit....I still liked the epis first time, but this time, I seem to have more patience to absorb every little aspect of the story even though it's quite dragged in those two months of missing/blind Dutta....lol

So as you said, this time I'm able to appreciate the fact that those kurtas were supposed to indicate a Dutta opening up and embracing colors in his life....but on the first watch, I was just like please don't change the aura that makes him Dutta😆.....now I think kapde didn't really change his aura, he always still retained his larger than life aura :)

It just took away the basic dutta. He felt like a stranger in those random kurtas dutta dutta nahi lagta tha. I didn't mind the white one pre shaadi caz that looked good too and also the color of sukoon and purity the phase he was in mentally but I still found all the other ones too distracting and ajnabee sa lagne laga tha Dutta. It was too much of a change but then yeah those were still better than the blind Dutta ki wardrobe though this time I was like blah but I still wanted him in his signature suits asap.

Real time main it's too much of change it takes time to reconnect with the chracters the small wardrobe changes make a huge difference caz then suddenly the characters start feeling koi ajnabi and it's usually not just the wardrobe changes uske saath saath characters start behaving weird too creating more disconnect. Sirf D ke saath hi nahi we have had so much trouble adjusting to shivaay ke qaidi/ striped suits too uff

So true....haha oh god Shivaay ke striped suits toh😆......IB ka wardrobe was another level of tamasha.....lol LTL mein max it was just Dutta getting some chamkeele kurte....Shivaay ka wardrobe toh had all kinds of namoonas.....then there was bechaari Anika....lol

But you're right....when it's in real time, every small change also feels like a break in character connect that's otherwise taken time to build up. Some iconic things shouldn't be touched cuz they are part of what the audience connects to....sometimes makers lose sight of that.
