In India these type of precaution seems difficult to folkow where lot of people r not educated ..terror from virus can be easily seen on every face ..

If somebody finds the symptoms just imagine the train of his thoughts and the trauma he face ..he will definitely rush towards hospital to save himself .

Many families in india just live in one room ...

Many hospitalsin Delhi are not looking at patients too .the pizza delivery boy is such example .the day he got fever he went to hospital ..hospital refused to take care of him .he then went to another hospital .his fever went away after six days but after a week he got it again ..he had to deliver pizza due to his job

Now Delhi govt planning to take action against the delivery boy but is total fault his ??

Why hospital neglected him ?

Today Delhi high court will give verdict on such negligence of hospitals

@bold: Same case in my area. Without doctor's certificate, you can't take a test and here no doctors are ready to entertain patients with any symptoms. Police also isn't helping and plus the ones who are entertaining such patients are saying that tests are taking too long to be done and the results too come in late.

Police is also allowing non-essential factory to work saying they got police authorization and calling hundreds of workers despite there being a lockdown.

Thank you Tanu for reminding us about the rules which we have to follow while posting our views.smiley31

This thread is very informative, covering the scientific angle with reports and research which are ongoing since the start of this pandemic. smiley32

So do people here think that India is gonna re-open in May, or is it more likely to stretch upto June?

Are we allowed to discuss the origins of the virus i.e. whether it was in a wet market vs the South China institute of Virology? Also, when you say we shouldn't post xenophobic comments, do they extend to the Communist Party of China (CPC)?

About politics, how about the WHO, whether Tedros is a sock-puppet of Beijing and his record in overseeing THREE cholera epidemics in Ethiopia when he was the health minister there? And whether the US is justified in suspending the funding of WHO?

Also, talking about communal, are we allowed to contrast the response to the virus by countries like Saudi Arabia (which has stopped the haj and cracked down ruthlessly on social distancing violaters) vs other countries (like Turkey, Iran, Pakistan) that are 'helplessly' doing nothing about it?

Yes you can discuss about the origin. If there are articles about China govt and corona/WHO issues , you can discuss about that too without going into other political issues. ex: war between countries.

You can definitely discuss the measures taken by each country and how it has affected the number of cases.

The only thing which isn't allowed is communalising it or giving it a political angle. for example : xyz religion is the reason or xyz political party is the reason.

Thanks for the instructions but want to ask how politics can't be discussed when these politicians have the responsiblity for taking steps to stop corona's spread .

Can't we discuss the faults the different governments are doing in their territories ?

Simply putting the videos where many politicians just praising their work on corona lessen the importance of this thread

Can't we discuss the ground reality ?

What things and situation we r facing in reality due to these politicians

You can mention the actions taken by a govt. You can mention the inefficiency of govt too and what can be done better. But please don't bring other issues into the thread . for example : xyz supports abc religion..

This is an old tweet but its amazing how South korea handled the pandemic. They has same amount of patients as Italy. 2nd and 3rd week, the cases in Italy increased exponentially but the cases in South Korea was managed. Hopefully India managed too 💙🍀
