Yeah, she would have killed one, thereby making Rudra super weak and fall for her.

If it was the daughter, Rishi would witness their love and swear Maya's death, thereby becoming MJ' tool in Maya's destruction, if it was Rishi, then the daughter would have tried to find the whole truth and then either side with Maya for the good or with MJ for her family, but I think with Maya coz she herself is a woman and has seen MJ ruin Rudra and Antara's life
