She was just sitting there lost in her own thoughts while he gazed at her lovingly. No one had the fortune to see the cold and ruthless Chaudhary heir warmly gazing at the Sengupta heiress with lovelorn eyes. It was something which couldn’t be witnessed on ordinary occasions. His gaze trailed over her.
It scanned her the way which would be a crime. But she was unaware. She was so deeply into his thoughts that she couldn’t understand that he himself was gazing at her.
“Bondita!” Her father called out a bit loud knowing fully well about the absentmindedness of his dear daughter. The loud pitch of her father shook her out of her trance. She looked up at the three elder men. They were looking at her strangely.
“Yes dad?” she asked.
“Bondita my dear I need to speak to your Trilochan kaka and Binoy kaka for a few minutes in privacy so will you wait here for us till we have the discussion in the study room? “He asked.
“Yes, sure I will wait here. You have your words with Trilochan kaka and Binoy Kaka till then.” She said with a smile.
Trilochan smiled at the young maiden. He loved the girl. He always wanted a female in the Chaudhary family but all the three were heirs. He wanted Bondita as the daughter in law of their family. She was everything he ever wanted as a daughter. Soft spoken but would be ready to fight for her rights. Ready to fight but is always kind. She never likes arguments but when necessary she won’t stop. Her kindness was the talk of the whole town. He wanted her in their family. And the fates listened to this ill-fated elder man and decided to give into this desire of his.
Binoy just nodded. He didn’t dislike Bondita but to him she was way too simple for the elite circle. She wasn’t into much fashion and dressed to ordinarily. He didn’t say anything as she was the daughter of Sengupta. And Senguptas where those very rich families with whom he wanted to maintain relationships.
Though if given a choice to decide for the Chaudhary’s daughter in law then he would never pick Bondita. She was way too simple. He desired to have daughter in laws like Saudamini Mukherjee. Vivacious and confident. She would make a perfect wife for Anirudh and a perfect daughter in law for Chaudhary family.
He knew his elder brother wanted Bondita as their daughter in law but he didn’t so was trying to make him understand how Saudamini was the perfect choice for Anirudh’s wife.
“Bondita my dear child if you feel the need you can go to the garden. No one will restrict you. Okay?” Trilochan said while Bondita nodded smilingly. She always was closer to Trilochan kaka more than anyone. Even her father.
Maybe because he understood her. He was always there when her father couldn’t be. He was the one who would handle her if not Som bhai and Batuk when she missed her mother. Because maybe she reminded him of her mother whom he regarded as his sister. He was close to her mother as an elder brother and now he was close to her as a father figure.
The men go towards the study room while Bondita sat on the sofa scanning the whole place and going once again in his dreams. She knew Batuk well and Som bhai also but Anirudh. Nothing. Whenever she was in the house he would be in his room or be away for his meetings. He had his own companies.
He wasn’t into the Chaudhary group of industries because of the sour relation between him and his father. But for the sake of his kaka who was the only person close to a father he had he didn’t leave the Chaudhary mansion. Maybe one part didn’t leave for his brothers too. She knew he loved both of them but didn’t express it. She knew him very well. He was the only one whom she noticed even if he never noticed her.
She was just sitting there tapping her feet while thinking of him. She started becoming restless as to what conversation was happening that it was taking so long so she got up to go to the garden. She went towards the garden which had glass doors which are always open but today they were closed. Strange; never do these doors be closed. And they aren’t any privacy protectors any way. she didn’t think much and just went inside after opening the doors.
Scene Change
Anirudh left for the garden before the men went towards the study. He wanted some alone time. He needed to analyse the conversation which happened between him and his dearest friend Saurabh and hour ago, He had forgotten about their conversation when he saw her.
He knew his emotions weren’t hidden but he never knew they were so obvious for anyone to read. Maybe the intensity of his passion for her was so deep that no one could miss it. He wasn’t in the right frame of mind to understand Saurabh’s words. It was analytical. Deep in his thoughts he failed to hear the opening of the glass doors and the pair of anklets which jingled as she walked softly.
