Here in India too there are some people still not following the lockdown. Due to them cases are increasing now. And that jamaat group madd it worse.
I am in Delaware, - East coast and org from Gujarat,.. ( NY, NJ is in bad shape here,.. ) both mine, are doing good, n' keeping the lowest nos of cases,.. knock on da wood,.... God bless all,..

We have only 33 deaths ( DE ) so far and in my county may be 13 or so only,...Plus also remember that many are old aged, having other illness - heart-kidney prob, diabetes, BPs, too and every day in Obituary column on any normal days,.. 15-25 dies anyway,... so here in this case , many cases even if had slight impact of covid, the death-case goes to the covid column,...

In US, any President can do maximum two terms ( 4x2 = 8 yrs only, no more than that ) hence,... Democratic ones like Clinton, Obama had finished both the terms ( were elected 2 times ) of total 8 yrs ,as they did reasonably good.... Among Republican, Trump was an accident and when most were sure that Hillary Clinton will come as President and somehow she did not,.. ! so far among Republican Regan was good and could finish 8 yrs..... Junior Bush did also 8 yrs, as there was no good competition,... ! Senior ( Late ) Bush, even after doing a good job for Kuwait/Driving out Saddaam,.. ppl still never had offered him the second term..... ! This term, perhaps Trump will be elected again as the opposition Democratic guy is not sounding that strong,...
I agree, somehow when it comes to flue kinda diseases the immunity of white remains very low. In every season, they have to have ( almost 75% does ) take Flue shots to prevent themselves ... ) we Indians never needed mendatorily,...
IMHO, Trump had never threatened,.... that was all our Indian politics of Opposition to lower down Modi , his relationship, and expenses on Trump visit bashing,...etc. Trump had only answered a reporter's question saying that,... Sep 2020 is too early to expect, I think it takes 2-3yrs.
Sadly that means damage done in next 2-3yrs cannot be undone in terms of human deaths and economy.
Even in the article it says,

I remember seeing article on starting phase 1 trial as early a month back. They have been working for vaccine for SARS and MERS which they might reuse for Covid19. Clinical trial of BCG also has been started.
We still don't have vaccine for AIDS/HIV, Hope that we don't get into such a situation.
I will consider this as Miracle, if this news really turns out true,…

To date, there is no specific treatment available for 2019-nCoV. Nitric oxide is a selective pulmonary vasodilator gas used in as a rescue therapy in refractory hypoxemia due to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). In-vitro and clinical evidence indicate that inhaled nitric oxide gas (iNO) has also antiviral activity against other strains of coronavirus. The primary aim of this study is to determine whether inhaled NO improves oxygenation in patients with hypoxic SARS-CoV2. This is a multicenter single-blinded randomized controlled trial with 1:1 individual allocation
The part about iNO having antiviral activity is another study (still to be approved?), where they are planning on having medical staff inhale NO before and after treating patients, so that any virus they had acquired doesn't end up infecting them.

If anyone here existed in 70s or at least have knowledge about 70s can anyone tell us what was the situation during small pox pandemic in 1974 where majority affected were Indians? Was there similar lockdowns? Has film industry stopped shooting like film and tv shoot stopped now? After how much time shoot started and thing became back to normal? Has India only invited vaccine? And how much time it took everything back to normal like coming of vaccine and lifestyle becoming as before? I am asking too much questions because it was one of the worst pandemic of modern India.
I asked my parents bht they hardly knew anything as they lived in villages then.

As far as polio concern ...
As I child I have seen a vast campaign taken by Indian govt to eradicate it with help of WHO . During those days lot of advertisement was made on tv,radio and newspaper to make people aware about it.polio vaccine was injected to every person later it was polio pulse drop which was to be given to every child till the age of five .these drops were given at every mcd school on a particular date ..
It was not easy during those times too as many special people don't take those saying it's against their religious sentiments so it was tough to handle up ,bihar ,west bangal during those times too .
Even after taking drops few children got polio ..
It took india near about 6 or 7 years to eradicate it completely ..the mcd workers and teachers visited every house to give polio drops to child below 5 ..

It shows different aspects why this can be a bio war ..so many mysteries behind it ...hope entire world after finding the vaccine try to find the real cause ..

In tamil nadu A daily wage worker bicycled 130 km to take his wife to puducerry hospital for her chemotherapy. At first drs refused but hearing his story they did the therapy ..arranged an ambulance for them to go back by collecting 6300 rs and given them food and medicine for one month ..
