Nice update , I think khushi is widow but she didn't wear white

Khushi seems to have gone through something really terrible!!!! As a result she is deemed outcast to the society and banned from religious activities. Arnav is really young and jovial, but I like the glimpses of human considerations he has.

My hunch is Khushi is a Widow!!!

As the story is progressing each chapter we are reminded that even today social evils exist in our villages social evils like caste system and women inequality still exist.

Ammaji looks like even though was not much educated saw to it that her son was sent to the city to learn medicine and made sure he would come back and work as a doctor and serve the people of the village where he was born.

Arnav the city returned doctor is intrigued not by lavanya who talks and moves freely with him but by kushi who is the maid’s daughter and covers her face with a veil and maintains a distance from him may be because she acts as if he is non-existent and is not attracted by his personality un like the other females in the city.

I think Kushi maintains a distance from him because she has been instructed by Ammaji may be because she doesn’t want kushi to fall in love with her son .But whatever the case maybe these issues of kushi may result in difference of opinion between his Arnav and his mother.

Arnav can not resist provoking Khushi any more than she can.

We don't know why Khushi does not get involved with things related to the temple. She wants to but stays away.

Loved the Update

One side Arnav wanted to be the way he wanted and open his heart to Ammaji about his feelings but doesn't instead son in him follows every order Ammaji says just because of wanting to make his mother feel happy and proud of him. Arnav enjoys riling Khushi that is why he never leaves a chance to provoke her so that she fights him back. He even found the similarities of the girl he bumped into and Khushi but brushed it off for the moment. He will for sure be surprised when he finds both are the same.

Wondering why Khushi doesn't enter the Temple. Even Arnav was curious about her and he remembered how she behaved when Ammaji was asking for the pooja thali at the house temple. Other than the anger Arnav saw the pain in Khushi's eyes for the first time. Now he is more eager in knowing about Khushi more.

Arnav did not realize Khushi is affecting him. Whatever she does, it is affecting him.

Ammaji was not interested whether he ate or not, but very particular about his dress code. Very interesting mother.

Khushi is behaving feisty in front of Arnav. Unknown man on the road is fine, but knowing that Arnav is Ammaji's son and a Cardiologist who is going to serve her and her village, she is still doesn't give a damn about him. That is unusual. What could be the reason? Khushi not participating in religious rituals is a mystery. I can think of many reasons, but, they are not adding up.

Khushi is intriguing . Her silence gives away nothing . There is something terrible which Arnav will discover about Khushi .

Arnav is affected by Khushi .

Ammaji is strict and dominant . Her care and concern is kind of weird .

Khushi is rude and blunt with everyone around her. If given an opportunity she’ll find faults in everybody..She’s basically extremely unhappy with herself and is often grumpy.

There’s tension between her and her mother. Her father is useless. Amma Ji is a dominating employer and caretaker of the village. She only has Lavanya, who’s genuine love and sweetness, softens khushi.😊

Though Arnav is there for the betterment of Ratnagiri but that doesn’t really directly help khushi..She lives in her world that’s very small and too lonely
