He says he wants to remain a good boy in her eyes and win her trust then right from his decision of making her jealous by being with Maya is stupid. This is the girl who hates his flirting and has tried to save so many girls she didn't even know from his charms. How's flirting with other girls gonna get him into her good book or gain her trust? Especially after that beautiful confession. He was clearly flirting with the sales lady, I mean who compliments someone's eyes the first time they seem and all and use it as a smooth line to ask her name?
I somehow don't think they'll break pranbir altogether and end prachi with someone else. I really hope not. Because they have put in a lot of efforts towards Ranbir's character development,I mean granted he seems stupid now. But yeah like someone pointed out I guess deep down he is always the in the moment,happy go lucky guy. Life hasn't thrown as many obstacles for him to toughen up or be serious. Even in this molestation case,he is so protected and cherished. Prachi, everyone is helping him and protecting so it still isn't the drive to grow up for him. Maybe later he definitely will during bet track and all. I am too attached to pranbir to think of them breaking them up :3 I mean sure they can bring sunny or someone else temporarily for the jealous factor but not a permanent one.
Somehow I have noticed in serials they tend to show the boy often flirtatious for no simple reason other than to get the female lead's attention in some way, irrespective of whether, in ranbir's case, he knows prachi doesn't like this stuff, but he's doing it now more so as he senses that now she has actually started developing feelings for him.
