For procession, normally we would say Parade niklegi, or Jhanki niklegi

But when we say tera juloos nikelga means teri beizzati hogi. We often use it for politicians' rallies, implying ki aaj is politician ka juloos niklega.. means iski beizzati karegi public.

This is what it means in Jammu, and Punjab.

Hi Fi !! I wrote the same !!

Arre baba, I wrote “as a synonym for ragging or some such variant”. Re-read before you begin rolling in laughter please 😆 And why on earth would I ask you if I thought I already knew the answer? 😆 Soul brought it up and that got me confused that I was totally wrong. What is the root or origin of the phrase- the same right? Or does the Punjabi dictionary actually say juloos means beizatti? 😳

its for both😆 the one which u consider, as in procession and the one which m telling as in beizzati (public shaming)😆

By memory is lapsing it feels😆

No no seductive hair pulling by shuklaji,

The promo when VG said to shefali that they are madly in love..and we see Sid falling on Sana and sid pulls her hair. But it got edited in the episode. Instead we got the edited scene where sid was angrily saying to sana- "tu mera hath dabake mujhe hurt kar rahi hai"

Excellent question. Okay. This is going to sound extremely stupid. But that’s what these spaces are for- to learn learn too. I have until now thought that Juloos meant Procession as in we understand in Hindi. So I imagined Sana always meant procession for whatever purpose- peaceful protest or its rebellious version or as a synonym for ragging or some such variant. Because she always said “juloos niklega”, I think 👀, which is the verb that usually goes along with the Hindi version too. What does juloos actually mean? 🙈

In Sana's context from what get is it means Tamasha, creating scene or Being on display😆

My dadi often uses these words when Me and my brother fight 😆
