Shaurya took a deep breath and calmed himself, he didn't wanted to be late to the court as he had got his first case , he quickly got ready and walked down to join his mom for breakfast forgetting about the papers which she handed him , his blood boiled when he saw his mom was trying to convince Mahek to eat something ...he couldn't digest the fact that Karuna is giving her more importance than him , he was jealous to see them together, Beta Kuch toh khaa le ...Dekh mainy tere liye itny pyaar se banaya hai..., he heard Karuna saying , Maa iam not feeling hungry , Mahek replied and her eyes fell on shaurya who was dragging dining chair , Good Morning Maa he wished her politely but Karuna behaved as if she didn't heard him , this made him more irked but he ignored and started having his breakfast ...Did you signed the papers ?? Karuna questioned him and this time shaurya behaved as if he didn't heard it and continued having his breakfast, ...iam asking you something .. Karuna shouted , Aaram se Maa behra nahi hoon mein ...He replied to calm her down ...Mahek gave karuna a glass of water , she gulped it ...Hamari Shaadi ko kitny din huve hai ?? Shaurya questioned Mahek out of no where , her mind was blank and she just stared him blankly...he snapped his fingers , 28 days he gave answer by himself...Why are you asking this ?? Karuna questioned , Maa you are a wife of a famous lawyer and mom of a famous lawyer to be ..so you should know that getting a divorce isn't that easy specially for those who are newly married..but suppose even if you file it now you won't get it before 6 months and this 6 months are more than enough for me to get justice for my friend ....he replied glaring angrily at Mahek ...You won't be able to harm her till iam alive...Karuna warned him...He smirked listening to it ...Mahek got terrified , tears were about to fall from her eyes but she controlled and excused herself and walked towards the kitchen holding her empty cup of tea , shaurya was watching her till she reached the kitchen....Let it take 6 months are 1 year I don't care but I want to free her from you ...Karuna said which made him broke his trance ...she won't get this freedom so easily Maa ..he replied and got up from his chair and touched her feets ..Today your son is going to fight his first case won't you give your blessings?? He asked , though she was angry with him but she couldn't let him go without her blessings it was her wish to see him a successful lawyer like his father ..She blessed him and made him eat curd , he hugged her tightly and thanked her, Their driver awara interrupted them saying Karuna that car is ready and they are getting late for hospital, Karuna had to operate a surgery and she completely forgot about it , she left the house in hurry , Shaurya still had some time as the case hearing was supposed to start late , he walked towards the kitchen , Mehak was trying to calm down herself ..she wasn't able to understand should she be happy that Karuna is supporting her by going against his son or to accept the fact that even after the truth is out she has to stay under the same roof along with shaurya in a meaningless marriage , she couldn't hold her tears for long ...she was about to wipe it when she saw a hand holding kerchief ...she turned around and saw shaurya standing behind her , What are you doing here ? She asked pushing away his hand ..He held her hand and handed the kerchief...rakhlo jab tak yahan hoo toh tumhy roz zarrort padegi iski ..he replied and was about to leave but Mahek stopped him and handed it back...I think zarrort tumhy zyada padegi iski ..waisy bhi mere saath toh apki MAA hai ..agar kamzoor padh bhi toh Woh aanso poch dengi ..aapky saath koun hai Mr Khanna ?? She questioned confidentially looking into his eyes...How dare you ..shaurya shouted and raised his finger ..Aaram se Mr Husband ..apko bhi yeh sab aadat dalni hogi , aur mujhy dard dekar aap bhi Khush nahi rahogy , jis din apko patah chalega poory sach ka tab sabsy zyada takleef apko hogi ..she replied and walked away leaving him puzzled , Damit mein aaya hi kion tha isky pass ...he looked at his watch and realized he is late for the court , he walked outside trying to forget the whole thing that happened , but he couldn't forget it ....her words were running in his mind while he was driving ...he just took a deep breath and calmed his mind before entering court , you have to concentrate on your case shaurya..he reminded himself ....

Shaurya had won his first case , it was a high profile and sensational case of a industrialist wife whose husband was having an extra marital affair , shaurya was successful in exposing the industrialist and his client getting a divorce along with a huge compensation , overnight he became the talk of the town and many of them approached him with their cases to get a justice , those who know him and his father well praised him saying he will be as successful lawyer as his father , he was so busy with his cases that he hardly had any time to think about his revenge with Mahek ..and Mahek deliberately started working in night shift , they had minimal encounter with eachother ..even if he catches her at dining table. ..Karuna used to be always their as her bodyguard to protect, few a times Shaurya tried hurting her with his words but Mahek had started taking it very casually as it wasn't effecting her , infact to tease him more she had started marking days on calendar so that he remembers that how many days she has to live under the same roof with him , Shaurya had planned he will take few days break but a new client approached him with a very sensitive case ...a young girl was raped by a MP's son and they even tried to shut their mouth by bribing them , when they weren't ready than they had threatened them by sending goons to their house .. before this the victims family has approached many lawyers but no one was ready to touch the case but when they heard about shaurya immediately they thought that he is the right person to fight their case , they came up to him with many hopes and he couldn't say no to them , Shaurya started working on the case and started using his informers to get the minute details of the accused .

In just few days shaurya was able to gather evidences against the accused on the basis of which he could prove him guilty , till now Karuna wasn't worried about the cases he has took but this time she was worried about his son's safety , she knows how far these people can go to wind up the case , she got more worried when shaurya started getting threating calls to leave the case ...she had requested him few times but shaurya was adamant on his decision... knowing her son so well she didn't pressurised him much ,

Their were 2 hearings of the case and the judge was about to give the judgment as all the proofs were against the accused but his lawyer created a scene in courtroom and managed to take few days of time on the basis of medical emergency , Shaurya wasn't happy at all , but he obeyed the orders passed by the judge and agreed for the next hearing .

Shaurya was waiting for the next hearing and knowing the risk involved on him and his family he was taking extra care of them also he had provided full security to the victims family...they were hidden at a secret place so that MP's people can't reach them , he was having breakfast with his family when Karuna informed that for few days she has to go to Mumbai as their is some felicitation ceremony and she was about to get an award their... shaurya was happy hearing but at the same time he was worried about her safety ...Maa is it necessary for you to go ?? I mean someone else can collect it on your behalf?? Shaurya questioned...Karuna understood that her son is worried about her safety....Have you listened to me before taking up the case ?? Didn't I warned you not to take it ?? So why are you worried now ? We can't sit back at home thinking about the safety...I need to go , infact I was thinking of taking mehak along with me if she doesn't have any important appointments or cases lined up...Karuna replied and looked at Mahek ...I would have loved to come along with you but you must be aware about the blood donation camp which our hospital has organised this weekend...I got the responsibility to supervise it so I won't be able to come along with you Maa ..Mahek replied, You aren't going anywhere shaurya ordered Mahek ..Ohhh as if iam going to listen it ... Infact now iam thinking to stay their itself...it will be a 2 hours journey I was thinking of coming back at night but now that Maa won't be here I better stay their ..Mahek replied looking at shaurya ... Yeah I think that's a good idea ..Karuna gaved her permission ,Enough Maa why don't you understand it can be risky ..both the ladies weren't in a mood to listen ..we can take care of ourselves shaurya Karuna replied and left the table , Mahek was picking up plates from the table when shaurya held her hand ..Mahek you aren't going anywhere and iam serious about it ,this can be dangerous for your life..just call the hospital people and inform them ..She pushed his hand away...why are you worried shaurya?? Let them kill me , you should infact thank them atleast you can get justice for your friend..she taunted , you know it's just waste to talk to you.. shaurya replied and left the place .

Next Morning Karuna left early morning to Mumbai , and Mahek asked Awara to drop her to the camp ...Iam sorry Bhabhi ..shaurya sir has warned me not to let you go anywhere ...he replied , she got irritated listening to it , she booked a cab for herself and left the Khanna mansion...Aawara tried to stop her but his all efforts went in vain .
