Good morning... a melancholic day for all Pratyusha fans, when on Fool's Day, destiny played the biggest prank on us. Our girl, Pratyusha Banerjee, who regaled us with her acting prowess and bubbly personality, passed away into another world. Why, how, who, all this is irrelevant now, grief is stored as a sad memory in our minds and for us, she is not only an excellent actress whose loss we mourn perennially but someone who brought us all together, the reason behind our enduring friendships and luminous bond, the reason behind this chat club... be happy where ever you are, dear Prats, happiness is what eluded you in your life, hope you have got it in tons now...❤️❤️❤️

Such an amazing chemistry with all your co-stars, without you, they all look pale with others, you revved up the act... you lit up the television firmament...

Your personal relationships were strong and solid.. always smiling, always a great support to your family, friends and costars...

You reside in the realms of immortality, always fresh and alive in our minds, thoughts and memories, they don't make one like her always...

Pratyusha , the queen of the TV screen as Balika Vadhu, the queen of my heart then and now. At a time loyalty was divided between many actresses' fans, I stuck to Prats throughout — even during her hiatus and of course her fantastic comeback in other serials.

There was something about Pratyusha that always enamoured me — her expressive eyes, her mischievous smile, her powerhouse performance in every serial she was in, however trashy some might be, and her ability to hold her own and, in most cases, surpass the performances of her much fancied male co-stars!

Missed you Prats, today and every day, a loss which I can never forget.

At least, rest in peace now our dearest actress, rest in peace, you worked so hard in your lifetime, now rest in peace dear. Everyone expected something or the other from you, selflessly you gifted your artistic talent first, then friendly gestures, finally your life itself, now nothing left to gift, rest in peace dear, rest in peace. We all owe you a lot.

You carve your name on hearts, not on flowing water. . A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you now dear Anandi.

History with its flickering lamp stumbles along the trail of the past, trying to reconstruct its scenes, to revive its echoes, and kindle with pale gleams the passion of former days, those days of the world watching the Balika Vadhu with a passion. What is the worth of all this? The only guide to an artist is her talent, her conscience, the only shield to her memory is the rectitude and sincerity of her portrayal of her roles. It is very imprudent to walk through memory lane without mentioning her BV Anandi role! For that,, It is a truth she was universally acknowledged!

The pain of a hard good-bye is the heart’s tribute to the acting prowess of the great actress. Missed you Prats.

Pratyusha proved that in an industry dominated by men, a lady could be an equally potent force to reckon with! She could play the docile exploited girl( Bv )and the flamboyant extrovert( ssk) with equal ease.

Good morning dear friends 🤗

Another year passed without her, and memories on her are fresh as ever...We all miss her as much as we did that day when we heard the sad news...I still remember that sense of shock and disbelieve that filled my soul...And though years passed, I still miss her the same...She touched my heart, and I will always remember my Pratsie with love ❤️

I remember those days when I started to watch BV, and than, while exploring everything about the show and girl who catch my attention, I found IF...BV forum was the first forum , ever, that I participated, just because of her and SidYusha...Even now, on this sad day, my face is smiling when I remember how much fun we all had, and how many amazing people I met, all thanks to her...Some of them are sill here...I'm grateful for that...❤️

She was such a talented actress, such a gentle, beautiful soul, a great friend to so many and a loving daughter to her parents...I am sure that so many people remember her today...❤️
