infact when I was watching the show in initial days, and I wasnt even a kuku fan by then, I could clearly see kunal's liking towards Kuhu

even during Ketu's haldi, when he goes inside to wash his stained kurta & finds Kuhu trying to wipe off stains from her hands, there is this scene where they interact in Kunal's room & I found that there was a flirty undertone in all their interactions and I was surprised that this man is in marital courtship with her sis but looks more interested in her

I completely agree. Pre Meenu's bullshit plan, all the signs were there. It's just when her 'Kuhu ku dhokha do' plan started that these signs evaporated and that is exactly what I don't understand. How could he go from liking and coveting Kuhu's company, flirting with her to becoming so harsh? I just don't get it.

P.S. Can someone give me the episode numbers for the bachelor party scenes and the Kuhu meeting a guy at a cafe scene?

but I do feel that in their room, or when its just two of them & they are not into that argument or fighting space, then he does express freely, like the SR spraying water on her face, that cheek kiss to shut her up, that balcony hug when abir wasnt well after coffee spiking incident

And yes, I really want to thank Lops aka Riya for starting this AT because it's the first step which is the hardest. There were hardly any KuKu fans on the forum at the time and it would have taken courage to not only start but keep the AT going. I really appreciate it 👏It's a lot of responsibility to keep track of an AT and run it

@Clarity: There is actually a great montage scene when Kunal remembers all his moments with Kuhu, apologises to her in his head, and then fully commits to Meenu's plan in order to protect Abir.

@clarity: I think because Kunal had feelings for Kuhu so hurting her became more challenging for him, because it also meant that he is killing all his future chances with her

during that jhula scene he clearly tells 'kuhu tum galat nahi ho' when she says that I am misunderstood, they have such a beautiful conversation & it was clear that they had feelings for each other

even after running away from the wedding in the letter that he leaves for abir, he clearly says that 'he hates mishti par kuhu sahi hai, wo galat nahi hai, usko meri taraf se sorry bolna'

even during that whole plotting thing I found Kunal being extra mean & rude to Kuhu even when it wasnt required, as if like he was pushing her away, but everytime his mom pointed out that & asked him to correct his ways 'nahi toh kisi ko shaq ho jayega about our plan'

Just skimming over the episode thumbnails on hotstar, I would say episodes 60-80 are where most of the scenes we are talking about take place. That was the golden moment between the Mishti/Kunal courtship and Meenu's plot, when Kunal and Kuhu just got to be themselves and get to know each other. I sincerely believe that this is when Kuhu's crush on Kunal became something more, and Kunal started to come out of his shell to let himself feel something again.
