@Peace: Meenu's ultimate plan is to get Mishti out of Abir's life and she'll go to any lengths necessary, what she wishes Nanu had done for her. Kuhu is disposable, especially now that she is a pawn in the plan to get rid of Mishti, but I don't think Meenu has an individual vendetta against her. Kuhu sort of managed to disappear into the RV family in a way that Meenu forgot there was a time she hadn't been there, until the extent of her insecurity about Mishti was exposed.
The way the show works, her plan has to sort of work before it doesn't, which is why I think there might be a separation. If they follow through with the foundation they've laid, Kunal and Parul will be the surprise package that upends Meenu's plans by actually going through with the separation -- Parul's speech to Kunal about a husband's duty to his wife, Kunal's public acknowledgment of Parul, and Parul's prophecy that Kuhu will come through for her when it really matters come to mind. Meenu is also gradually driving Kunal out of the business with her warnings to Kausal. The leads will then obviously be the ones to unite everyone, but honestly I am less interested in the resolution and more in the conflict. 😈
@Meera: Thank you so much! 🤗 2019-Sam would be absolutely thrilled that people are actually reading and appreciating those posts. At the time I thought it was my last hurrah on the forum so I poured all my feelings, good and bad into them.
The greatest tragedy of this show is how they've stuck these beautifully crafted, complex characters with banal ITV plotlines. Like you say, there is so much potential here but the stuff that actually makes the show compelling is sort of relegated to the side while the majority of time is spent on manufactured drama. As someone mentioned the other day though (sorry, I can't remember who!), the makers must be rejoicing that they have managed to reach so many cross sections of the audience with their buffet-style storytelling.
@Snow: Meenu's characterisation! Yes! They have absolutely dragged her character through the mud but somehow it's that image of her as the powerful but terrified matriarch that has stuck with me.
I am so looking forward to more gorgeous creations now that you have finally cracked the GIF-posting mystery! 😃
