In these troubled times which plague our Asli Duniya, I’d like to share a few stories written by a dear friend, Jigs (IF Chokri_ASR). She has opened up a few of her previously closed, completed works. We can all do with some precious moments to escape to our Sapnon ki Duniya, right?!

I’m posting the synopsis of the stories below with VMs of how the author has visualised them. As I can’t post blog links here, you will have to google for them. If you encounter any problem in finding them, feel free to message me.

Entangled

The blood of generations of kings and queens coursed through their veins. She wore her mantle of destiny with grace and fortitude in a time where he remained unaware of his heritage altogether.

Was it destiny, or design, that Entangled the paths of these two disparate beings?

Join me in this modern day fairytale as it traverses the green and pleasant land of England and sweeps across the stark, arid beauty of Rajasthan.

Temptation - Phase 1 of 2

Our past has a way of defining our present and shaping our future. Good or bad. The scars from the past remain embedded in our soul, buried under the layers life adds. Every throb is a constant reminder of their existence, of the reality of life.

Temptation is the journey of two successful, driven, and equally strong and hard headed individuals, coming face to face in an unforeseen circumstance. Neither is keen on the institution of marriage, but are being coerced into settling down for the sake of their loved ones. Will they be tempted to form an alliance in a mutual agreement that benefits them? Or will they continue with the future they had planned?

After almost thirty chapters, we start with the next phase of Temptation.

As the deeply embedded scars of the past are laid bare to the naked eye, will the grief that they enshrouded transmute into absolution? Can the demons of the past truly be laid to rest? Can love be enough to transmute entrapment into deliverance?

A story about a woman’s journey towards reaching her career goals in Corporate America as an Executive in New York City. But little did she know, her happily ever after was also at arms reach. Come, see, and feel the attraction as this couple, Arnav and Khushi, unite not only professionally but personally as well.

Emotions laid bare and Stripped of all pretence…
