Since we've gone down that route, here's my KuKu and Kids drabble-
Kuhu is walking to KuKu's room. 'Yeh Kunal ke bachche ko main samjhati hoon. Kitni baar bola hai ki mera phone uthaya kare, par nahi," she says. She huffs and opens the door to see Kunal sitting with his back to her and their twins giggling beside him. "Kunal, 10 baar call kar chuki--", she begins but stops as Kunal turns around. Little beaded hairclips adorn the front of his hair, his cheeks are rosy like Snow White's and his lips are a painted fuchsia. He has sparkly blue eyeshadow on one eye and shimmery purple on the other. Kunal whimpers, "Kuhuuuu....". There is total silence for about five seconds and then Kuhu burts into laughter. Their daughters follow. Kunal stares at all of them, annoyed. The laughter goes on for a minute and Kunal says, "haha, very funny guys!". Finally, Kuhu wipes her tears away and says, 'Kunal, yeh pehli baar hai ki mujhe yeh bolne mein koi dukh nahi ho raha ki koi aur mujhse zyaada pretty lag raha hai!". "Achcha ji, abhi batata hoon tumhen. Just wait," says Kunal. His eyes sparkle and he gathers the three ladies in his arms, rubbing his face against them to get the makeup off. He gives his daughters sloppy kisses and they giggle as the lipstick rubs off. "Papa, aap Mummy ko lipstick nahi lagayenge," they ask. Kuhu stops laughing and looks sheepish. Kunal stares at her and says, 'Sure, kyun nahi!" and plants a peck on her cheeks. Kuhu's eyes widen and the girls clap.
I love that KuKu actually embrace their high maintenance couple status. Such a rare thing on Itv.
