i feel its pranati becos his mom died when he was in school after that he was send to hostel but than the jerk was showing it off to his temp gf so doubts are there but he risk his life to save the belt it has to be special😲

It's surely given by someone important to him. He got angry at Armaan (or was it Dilli Paaji) when they were including the belt in there conversation.

I don't think it's about the monetary value. There's probably some emotional value to it. 😳
