This sucks, man. Instead of offering support, people here turn on each other quickly.

Evil people all around. Harassing a man who is already sick. A lot has to do with ignorance too. This is the same like how they treat TB and HIV patients. Self isolation seems far more difficult and scary with people like these around. Its not safe, More unfortunate is the fact that even the family members might be sick in such cases so patients have to take care of themselves alone. More than the illness the depression will hurt them. We need more awareness campaign to control the panic and educate people on how to deal with things. Also government needs to open up more isolation centers to deal with this. They can't put all the responsibility on the citizens in times like this. Some may not be able to manage.

Na darne ka na darane ka ..simple rules follow karne ka time jo bhi govt bolti hai ...govt doing everything to prevent this virus but akele govt cant prevent this virus, the public need to cooperate and support...

Office main logo ko work from home diya ..bando ne banaras ki ticket book kara li jane ke liye 😡 aise aise to namoone hai pade likhe .... luxury soch rahe hai work from home instead of precaution measurement 🤢

Jab metro and public transport use karne walo ko diya WFH to jo apne conveyance se aate hai unke muh fool gaye 😔

aaj se complete office work from home karega sab aise khush ho rahe hai jaise maje aa gaye 😆

Yes it is terrible but how are people suppose to help and support??? Without risking health. If it spreads to community we will enter stage 3

Lol in my place supplies will end from tomorrow and no more vegetables. Have to live on rice and daal if it continues. Everyone is buying months of supplies. 🤪

I just dont understand why infected people are being treated as social outcasts. You could be next? Your family could be next? The virus doesn't discriminate like the rest of the social parameters. People are so stupid and insensitive. And if they continue being like this, people will no longer admit themselves and those people taunting them will absolutely be next no doubt about that.

Sigh. Was just thinking about something this morning... How the whole world is crumbling down because one animal market. One tiny market in some part of the world started this..

When we are often told about how insignificant we are compared to the universe as a whole, we get to see what one tiny market in some part of the world can do to us.

Why exactly is this necessary? This is not war. It will be the same whether they live there or live here. So why are they airlifting so many and bringing them here. Isn't that bringing more risks to the citizens that the government will fail to manage.

People can be a little sensitive towards those who are infected. But it's too much to ask from most Indians. Hamara mindset hi aisa hai.

From the time of this outbreak... I feared this. Infected people will be treated as untouchables.

There have also been reports that residents of one building (A) have threatened their maids, drivers, etc that if they go to work in another building (B) where someone has been tested +ve for corona, they are going to be thrown out of work. So literally in a day, the whole building B has been boycotted. They don't have maids or drivers coming and society members of building A have also spread rumours among swiggy /grocery delivery persons that waha jaoge toh corona ho jaagega. Toh no one is even going to that building for delivering even bare essentials!

I have a question. Would this be the same if this tiny market was in some other country? Did Chinese with their authoritarian government hiding the truth made any difference? Could other countries get away with it how China did? I feel if the world knew things earlier it and China took actions earlier the spread could have been lesser than what it is today.

The Government needs massive awareness campaigns close to Polio ones. Mindset change ho sakta hain especially about diseases which affect everyone. May take a lot of time but atleast some lives would be spared from bullying and abuse.
