Gayatri, what you have described is the killing of Bhasmasur by Vishnu in Mohini form. As far as I understand from the stories I have read and heard, Mura was killed by Krishna using his Sudarshan Chakra/weapons.

As far as i know, that's Bhashmasur but if the same was repeated with Mura, then they(makers) probably took an easier route.

These CVs are masters of distortion but this time i guess they changed the storyline in a haste because Govt has ordered to stop shooting of films,tv shows and web series etc to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 as Maharashtra is the worst hit state in India. For Krishna to turn into Mohini,they would have needed costume,look test,dance rehearsal etc and probably they didn't have that much time as that would have delayed the closure of this Narkasura track. Just my opinion.

Thank you girls for confirming it was Bhashmasur. Even i was confused for quite a while. Mura's killing has so many interpretations but Krishna using Sudarshan to eliminate him sounds correct. Nonetheless they changed it to make it more dramatic.
