Important information for all ( this is not region or country restricted):
Everyone doesn't need a mask .
When to wear a mask
Only wear a mask if
You have symptoms like cough, fever or difficulties in breathing etc.
You are caring for COVOD-19 suspected / confirmed patient with respiratory symtoms
You are a health worker attending patients
You work at public services.. like in transport , malls, nursing homes, airports, banks.( for states like Maharashtra with high percentage of affected people)
(Since you can be in contact with any kind of people .)
While wearing a mask make sure you:
Unfold the pleats of the mask and make sure they are facing down
Change the mask after 6 hrs or as soon as they become wet.
Place the mask over your nose, mouth and chin and ensure there are no gaps on either side of the mask, adjust to fit
Never reuse disposable masks, disinfect them before disposing, and close the bins after disposing them
Avoid touching the mask while using it.
Don't touch potentially contaminated outer surface while removing it. After removing it wash your hands.
