Baaghi 3 Has Fair Hold On Monday

Baaghi 3 had.a fair hold on Monday as it collected 8.75 crore nett. The drop on Monday is the regular 50% drop but its coming off a 17 crore nett plus total on day one which gives the film a solid Monday figures. The four day business of the film is now 61.50 crore nett.

The film is a success as it will get a good boost today and collections should easily go into double digits and it could even be at 75 crore nett after five days though a lot depends on the jump today and with 75 crore nett there in five days its pretty certain the film is going over 100 crore nett which is enough for the film to be a success.

For the film to emerge a HIT it has to do a little better and it will probably be the second Friday which will determine if the film can become a HIT. The film has scored very well in Gujarat / Saurashtra as it just 10% lower than Baaghi 2 there while all the all India difference is around 25% after four days. The falls were more than 50% in West Bangal and Mysore but the film has not done too well in these circuits. The collections of Baaghi 3 till date are as follows.

Friday - 17,50,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 15,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 19,75,00,000 apprx

Monday - 8,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 61,50,00,000 apprx

The Baaghi Franchise Stays Alive

Baaghi 3 will not match the BLOCKBUSTER success of Baaghi 2 but its going to well enough to keep the franchise alive. The recovery is never much of an issue as these type of films have huge recovery from satellite and digital and here the huge success of Baaghi 2 propelled the prices of Baaghi 3.

The most important thing is the franchise has to stay alive and after the Saturday drop if the business on Sunday had not shown that big growth then the franchise would have been treading water. Now the film has over 60 crore nett on the board and the Holi holiday to come. The film has not been appreciated in the bigger cities but the smaller cities have liked and if we look back at first Baaghi it was the smaller cities which made it a HIT. Baaghi 2 managed to do great business in smaller cities and good business in the bigger cities but generally Baaghi is a franchise which has always been lapped up by the smaller cities and that audience has again come for Baaghi 3 which can be called the target audience. The comparative figures of the Baaghi franchise for the weeeknd are as follows.

They add that when they know they can't recover cost from theaters. Yeh woh Dishoom level ka success hone wala hai. Producer, trade, sites kahenge hit hai... math karne baithoge to average/below average.

They clearly go on to infer the film is a success on its THEATRICAL fronts too to warrant future parts. Otherwise, recovery through digitally (which is never an issue for such films) would've meant jack squat going forward if it hadn't done well THEATRICALLY.

The film probably costs close to Tiger Zinda Hai minus Salman's cost. It's almost the same film. And it will be lucky to make what Baaghi 2 made. BOI declared it a hit too early and now they will have to keep making excuses till they quietly start dissing it in a few months.

PS. Baaghi 3 budget 80 crores and TZH was 200ish. Not even in the same ballpark. Even when you wanna bring in the distribution costs and share recovery. But of course, you do you bruh. 😆 OMG, there I go again with that emoji.

Apparently it did 12-13 crore today which is amazing it crossed the overall budget of the movie
