From what I understand she has had a tough childhood. She ahs hinted it in many unsees also to sid. She was neglected. She also mentioned that her mother father has never come to her mohali house. I believe in her family she is closest to her brother only.

So yeah she is now preferring Mumbai more as obv here sid is there. She has said she regards sid as her family. And its ki d of true.

Sid understands her better than I guess anyone else. Sid ne phd kari hai awaal darze ki sana ke upar😆. The attention, love care she has recieved from sid , I dont think she has ever recieved it from anyone . So for her sid is very very important.

On her birthday, she feeded the cake first to sid ,not her brother. That tells u a lot of Sid's importance in her life.

Her parents were initially bot supportive of her modeling and acting.

I dunno Uma, like i mentioned to Ashima abhi, i remember her saying that shehbaaz used to stay with her, might be I'm mistaken. But the point stays that she is used to staying away. She's not dependent on them emotionally, other than shehbaaz maybe, there too she being the elder might have been the nurturer. So why is this any different than staying in mohali... i read on an fb group too, people raising the same question, so this is more a thinking out loud on my part. Her emotional anchor is here, why would she leave him? As it is weekends hi milte hain, jaayegi to usko saath le kar jaayegi 😉
